On September 23, 2025, in the evening I ordered paella with black rice and, to my great surprise (and culinary horror), I received a kind of pilaf beautifully arranged in a tin box, decorated with ... mayonnaise. Seriously? Mayonnaise in paella? This is no longer a Spanish recipe, it's an attack on the authentic taste! I'm not even talking about well-cooked shellfish in composition or mediterranean flavors, but just shellfish fried in oil, rice, a few ingredients thrown in at random and a few generous spoons of mayonnaise as a bonus. I strongly recommend: stop reinventing paella, not all "fusion" ideas are edible. If you're going to use mayonnaise, at least mention it on the menu. After all, it costs about 30 euros, and it took 45 minutes to be served, although there were only 4 tables occupied. I left it untouched! I don't recommend it.

If you like burnt-tasting food and expensive dishes made of cheap ingredients, this is your place to go. I had a taco which managed to taste burned, and the mexican chicken. When a dish costs 18,50 one has certain expectations of the ingredients. Four almost meatless fatty chicken wings re not amongst them. That I decided afterwards to have a burger at McDonalds of all places to cleanse my palate and not feel hungry any more, is testament to my opinion of this place: avoid!

We ate 2 sandwiches, pulled pork, and one with some sort of cheese and rucola. Both were relatively big, decent, and tasty, but we felt like they lacked something. The service was nice, the coffee was very good and the view with the ocean was amazing. They have a distinct meniu for breakfast, including with American pancakes. They have approx 15 tables, the majority with shadow. We recommend the location.

The location is idyllic, set on a raised area, with the ocean in full view, and close enough to hear the waves. A slight issue is I wasn't protected by the windbreaker where I was seated.

The service on the part of the serving staff was good. There were problems, but I suspect it was more the fault of the kitchen, but still, an attentive server would have noticed.

The bread we ordered didn't arrive. We had asked for fried sweet potato as a side dish, but wad brought mashed potato. When we remarked this, the waiter had a word with the kitchen and kindly brought us a plate of mashed sweet potato. It was our fault that we didn't specify to him that we'd ordered fried.

The food was good. We'd ordered calamar and I'd expected a whole squid. We got a section of it. It was fairly disappointing anyway.

We had the 'famous' Willy's cheesecake for dessert. It was interesting in that it came with a melted cheesy filling, but me, I'd take a good old traditional baked cheesecake anytime.

Quite costly I found it. It is always packed to the brim. The fact that dress code is very informal, coupled with its fab location, must be a strong contributing influence, I suspect.

But, it's not a place I'd be...

This place is total ripoff, please avoid! Fish of the day was priced at around 20 eur on the menu, but the waiter came with the info that it will cost us 43 eur. We accepted the high cost as it was our first night on the island, and my birthday. We expected a nice whole fish or a nice big piece. Instead, we got a little piece overcooked and dry, without any sauce! I gave them opportunity to reimburse this failure, and the waiter even called his boss. The boss gave us 3 EUR discount on 60 eur total price, and nothing else was done to get justice after this experience. It got even worse, as we were forced to overpay and we left embrassed. Now, this would have been acceptable as 8 eur lunch fish, but not as 43 eur dinner! I have travelled through canary islands for months in total during the years, and this was first case of this kind of blunt and arrogant rip off, non negotiable. Maybe this restaurant is part of the current anti-tourist movement, and we were ripped off due to our...
