I am very curious how this restaurant appeared in the Michelin guide 🤔 There were some super cool ‘concepts’, such as the picnic dish and the pinata dessert, but the taste on almost all 8 dishes, including the desserts, were waaaaay too salty. The chickpea dish was hard to eat because of all the salt, had to drink lots of water between every mouthful to manage it. The same with the fish dish served with cinnamon sauce, the second sauce tasted like soy sauce and salt water.
Dish #2 which was a garlic ice cream and a rosmarin sauce (?) was not eatable at all, it just tasted salt in different textures. We did not finish it, and the neighbor table did not like it either.
The fish dish with butter sauce was super good
The wines were pretty good, not phenomenal.

Location: (+) Small Restaurant with very nice interior (o) The Air-conditioning was quite cold. Even we worn sweatshirts, it felt quite cold.
Service: (+) Outstanding service. Explained with enthusiasm each dish. The idea, the connection to the canaries etc. (o) unfortunately the English skills of the service were a bit limited or with strong accent, which made it hard to understand 100%

Presentation: (+) Completely outstanding presentation. Each dish comes with a different plate which are funny, great looking etc. but never normal....

The owner came to meet us after dinner and spent a good while chatting which was very nice. The service was relaxed and nice. Everyone spoke some English which was helpful.
The first Michelin star is...
