𝐋𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐀 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒅 — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

Avoid this place like the plague!! Served us RAW CHICKEN and expected us to stay and eat the rest of the food!! No way in hell was I going to eat anything further after being served RAW CHICKEN! I made myself sick in the toilet in hope to avoid illness. We wanted the food taken off our bill and I was even going to pay for our cocktail (which seemed water based as no alcohol could be tasted). After waiting over 10 minutes for the “manager” he apologised and said he had taken the good food off the bill and if we wanted something else! The “good food” he mentions is basic street food that I could have thrown together with a fryer - raw chicken strips, mash up frozen prawns, vile frozen calamari, chips… nothing special and in fact we were also worried about the texture of the prawns so we certainly did not want anything else!! We explained to him we wouldn’t be paying for any food and if anything he should be offering that cocktail as complimentary after serving us RAW CHICKEN! I eat out a lot and I have never in my life been served RAW CHICKEN!!! He said no we have to pay for the drink!! I was so angry I actually refused to pay for the drink in the end, especially after not even being able to enjoy it! Absolute joke...

I had the vegetarian smash burger and it was incredible! Really good prices to be honest aa well. Ordering was a big hassle though - I stood at the window for 10 mins and girl serving there wouldn't even acknowledge me. I then asked her if I could order and sit down and she said "sit down and ask the waiter". So I did, but waiter was in his own little world and hard to get his attention. He was on his own as well. So it took about 20mins just to order! I also had a cocktail, a Moscow mule, which was lovely and refreshing and presented very nicely in a copper tankard, which I thought was really cool and modern. It took another 10mins to get waiter's attention to pay the bill. The staff in the kitchen were working really hard, you could see that, but their food is amazing, so hats off to tha kitchen staff! Overall I loved my food and will defo be back, but the servers need to learn to...

Everyone here works with such dedication that I honestly felt like my own mother was watching over me and taking care of me. As for the food – no words, it simply melts in your mouth. And the prices? Even fewer words! This kind of food, this rich atmosphere, this kind of service… and yet prices lower than half of Lloret de Mar.

Why? I don’t know – but I do know one thing: please keep it this way! There’s no need to raise the prices sky-high – the magic is in keeping it affordable so everyone can enjoy it and come back again.

I’ve been on many holidays, but I’ve never experienced a place with such food, service, and atmosphere all in one. Everything is flawless.

Big respect to the owner, Juan Bernat – I hope he truly values his staff and his guests by keeping the prices fair, because in the end, this way he might actually earn even more – both money...
