Molí — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

I and my wife are from Latvia. We like hunting good non-touristic restaurants where most visitors are local people. We have been walking around Lloret de Mar for a couple of days and found this gem.

As usually, we tried the daily lunch offer (“Menu”). First of all, the “Menu” offer is much bigger comparing to all other restaurants we have seen here. You can choose from about 4 options for starters and about 8 options for the main course. The drink and desert is included as well. And all this for 12.90 euro that is cheaper in any other place.

However, the price is not the most important advantage of this place. We were most impressed by the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, as well as the quality of the food. If I'm not mistaken, we were served by the owner and hostess of the restaurant. The owner explained each dish and made recommendations according to our tastes. We ordered mainly fish and seafood, but you could also order chicken, pork, beef and vegetarian dishes. All dishes were very tasty, the portions were large.

We have been travelling around Girona, Barselona, Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar. Certainly, this is the best local restaurant we have found during our travel. Many thanks to the owner and the staff from...

An incredibly busy local restaurante. Assistance very pleasant. I had seafood spaghetti to commence. The flavour was good but the pasta very over cooked. To follow I had lubina which was well cooked. My sweet was melón which was a littke unripe. My husband had cocido, a soup with chickpeas which he said was good. Great place for lunch! It seems to be popular with the locals, didn't seem touristy.
