I hate writing bad reviews, but I felt it was necessary after my experience. The restaurant advertises a special pizza promotion where all takeaway pizzas are 5 euros each. I'm not fluent in Spanish, but know enough to place the order in Spanish. I asked for 2 of the 5 euro takeaway special pizzas. They confirmed that I wanted 2 of the 5 euros pizza specials for takeaway, and it would be ready in 5 minutes. After I handed over cash payment, they told me the price was more than double the 10 euro price it should have been, refusing to honor the advertised price. They proceeded to yell at me for 15 min while I waited for my change, and they also called someone to speak with me over the phone in English to explain the price. The person on the phone hung up on me. While I understand there was a language barrier issue, my assessment is that they knowingly tried to take advantage of a tourist. In the end I did get them to refund most, but not all of the change owed, but only because I waited through 15 minutes of them yelling at me. The way they handled the situation was unacceptable, and I cannot...
Read moreIt is a run-down tourist place. We have waited long time for our food, sitting at a table outside on the porch next to a big construction site. After more than 40 minutes we asked what happened to our orders and they brought us 2 small dry buns with a slice of dry cheese on it.....to nibble. We were not the only ones eager for a meal. When we arrived there was a family with a little child waiting already for their take-away. The owner came to take the dry untouched cheese-buns and when he turned away he was giving us bad names in Italian and put the plate with the buns back in the cooling showcase. When I asked at the counter for some change to play with the slot machines while we were still waiting, I saw him yelling at the family which was asking to get their money back. We were hungry. So we stayed. But never again! Now that I read the answers he is giving to the reviews, it feels like deja-vu. That...
