La Machina — Restaurant in Málaga

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have never received worse service in my life. I came here with my boyfriend and his family and I regretted it. I definitely don’t recommend this place and I’m not sure how the reviews here are so positive.

When we tried to get a table, we were told that it would be over an hour wait by 3 different people despite several tables being available. When we pointed this fact out they said that there’s not really a system to track who gets what table so we can just sit wherever.

It took over an hour to actually receive service and when we did the waitress was very rude. She threw the silverware and napkins on the table. After finally placing our order, we noticed several people who sat after us and were served all their food before us. When we asked about it they told us they would check and then didn’t return.

When we finally received the food it was not good and when we asked for a refill of soda they brought the wrong soda. When we informed them it was the wrong drink they brought a new one and slammed them on the table getting the sodas on me and my boyfriend’s family.

We ended up paying over $100 for bad food and the worst...

Menu offers a variety of meals, including salads and various appetizers, to full meals, sandwiches, and hamburgers. Although there are some traditional Spanish dishes offered, I would describe this as a refreshing alternative to the chiringuitos on the beach. The menu is large and varied. House wines are good. Portions are generous. Service was good as well. I love spicy food and ordered the Thai Green Curried shrimp bowl. It was super spicy, true Thai in flavor. My wite had the Thai La Machina salad. Nos sentamos, pregunta del camarero cuando le pedimos mi pareja y yo dos cervezas.. pinta o copa? Mi respuesta..copa que pinta es mucha cantidad..hasta ahí todo bien..todas la mesas con aceitunas ..en mi mesa nada.. se las pido y el muchacho sin problemas me trae unas pocas..pedimos 3 platos..con el segundo otra copa de cerveza.. hasta ahí todo bien.. la comida muy aceptable..el problema viene con la cuenta!! Cuando le decimos al camarero que en la carta pone que la cerveza vale 3 euros la copa y me está cobrando 4.2 y me contesta que es que es la copa lleva la misma cantidad que la pinta(entonces la pregunta que me hace el camarero y mi respuesta???lo mejor viene cuando en medio de la sala llega el encargado(un chico con bigote y acento argentino/uruguayo..tampoco hablo mucho su frase fue..hola os traigo la demostración de que estáis equivocadas o algo así dijo..muy buena frase para unos clientes)y con aires chulescos se pone a medirme los vasos con agua delante de los demás clientes(COSA INACEPTABLE EN U N CAMARERO SOLO pOR LA ACTITUD Y MENOS LA FORMA)pero cuando le digo que mida los vasos con cervezas no con agua contando la espuma que venía media copa de espuma y/o que haga la demostración un tercio se ríe en mi cara y me da la espalda. Una pena porque por muy buena que pueda estar la comida (cosa que estaba dentro los precios rica y pedimos tres platos) a los sitios se vuelve por el trato y el trato de este chico fue de lo peor que me he encontrado en mucho tiempo, chulería, prepotencia, superioridad y una risita de estar sudándole lo que un cliente le está recriminando..obviamente que no volveré mientras este chico me...
