Malapizza — Restaurant in Málaga

Can’t believe I am writing this review.

I ordered some food from Malapizza through Deliveroo app at 9pm.

The estimate arrival time kept on being pushed back 10min and it showed “in preparation” for 2 hours.

Since my order didn’t arrive, at 10.45pm I called the Malapizza directly and they said when the rider came to pick up the order wasn’t ready.

Malapizza didn’t care about making the rider wait or find another rider to get the food delivered. Instead they just let the food wait there until we called 2h!!!! later after the order.

Then I contacted Deliveroo customer service that told me that was too late to assign anyone else since Malapizza was closing at 11.30pm.

Ridiculously bad service!! If I wasn’t proactive to call Malapizza on my own, I would have been left forever waiting on a order that would never come!!!

With the order sitting cold at the restaurant for 2hours, wouldn’t hurt to give a call to a customer that is expecting it and explain the situation.

Since the Deliveroo app was still saying “in preparation by the restaurant ” 2h30 later ... and estimated arrival 12am ..

This is a simple pizza restaurant and it has about 8-10 tables to sit. In the door they have some pizzas ( more like focaccia and calzon) but if you want to sit down they offer other type of pizzas with thin crust. We were 4 and each orderee a pizza with a drink and we payed 23 Euros. In my opinion for the price it is a very good option if you want a better/gourmet pizza I suggest to go to another place. They took about 25 minutes bringing our pizzas. The price of small pizzas ( personal size) vary between 4 and 8 Euros and a family one from 9 to 18. Reading other reviews of this pizzeria almost makes me want to go back, only problem is that either this pizzeria is really inconsistent, or no one has ever tried their margarita. I have never in my entire life been more disappointed in a pizza from a restaurant. Even the cheapest frozen margarita I have ever bought for about 1€ was way better than this. I would like to think that they just had a bad day, but I just can't make myself go there again. With this said, it still gets 2/5 as the service was great and the staff...
