The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant 1 star is that the restaurant did not claim to be "authentic."
I have family with Korean roots. I grew up going to and from South Korea and trying real Korean food, traditionally more accurate to the various provinces without being negatively impacted by catering to the tourists' palates.
At this restaurant, I was hoping to enjoy the meal. Sadly, I ate only because we were paying for the meal. I ate jjajangmyeon, side dishes and what was supposed to be Korean bbq. The meat was incredibly poor quality, not seasoned. They gave us butter .... that is not what should be used to oil the grill. The jjajangmyeon was so watered down and overcooked, no flavor even remotely close to jjajangmyeon.
The vegetable portions were so skimpy. At the end of grilling, we only had onion left. They do not give oil to keep the grill from overburning and they do not change the grill. Or at least, they didn't have table service for this.
Summary: For those that already know what authentic Korean food is and you are coming here, forget everything you know about Korean food or Korean atmosphere. For those that know nothing about Korean food, please don't take this as authentic. If you want authentic, go to South Korea or follow a Korean YouTube channel and make the food at home.
I am sorry, Chingu. You guys simply need to do better.

Read moreHello, As a Korean, I don’t recommend the korean bbq here, i think the quality of the meat is not so good but i can recommend other dishes. I think other dishes taste authentic. There is little bit chinese taste on it on some food like naemyung but its ok. :) For me, the kimchi is very good and i could recommend the kimbap(the rice roll), kimchi friend rice (kimchi arrozo frito), naemyung, calamari picante, tukboki and jaeyuk bokeum. Kimchi here is not too spicy. :)but if u cant eat spicy food, dont order some food like kimchi soup, jaeyuk bokum, tukboki. Those are spicy. :) Hola, soy coreano, claro soy de corea del sur. ;) De todos modos, me gusta este lugar mucho pero me no gusta la barbacoa de aqui. Es no coreano barbacoa seguro. Pero otora comidas de aqui muy bueno. Yo puedo recomendar kimbap, kimchi, neangmyun, kimchi frito arroz, and jeyuk bogeum (cerdo...
Read moreI didn't have a reservation, but luckily when I arrived there were still 2 empty tables. I really like Korean food. This restaurant serves very good food. If someone asked me if I would come back, my answer would be yes. But there is an inconvenience about seating. When the restaurant has long tables and benches linked together, you will sit with other guests. And if you sit in the back, it's inconvenient for you to go to the bathroom, and it seems like you'll bother other guests. The kimpap was delicious but the bowl of dipping sauce was smaller than the kimpap and I couldn't dip much. For mochi dessert, I don't like the strong cheese smell. But my friend likes it. I still prefer...
