This was one of my favorite coffee shops in Málaga, until a not so pleasant encounter today. I recommended my tutor to meet up with me at my favorite coffee shop for our lesson today, however, within 10 minutes of getting there 1 worker asked if we wanted anything I said I would order later because I knew a friend was going to meet up with me after my lesson to try the coffee shop that I recommended. Then not even 2 minutes later another worker comes out yelling at me and my tutor telling us we cannot just come in and not order anything, even though we were planning on ordering. I tried to explain to him that is fine I will just order now and he only yelled at us “FUERA (GET OUT)” He didn’t even let us explain the situation. It was humiliating and I could not believe this happened to us. I know many foreigners/expats visit this coffee shop to get work done or meet people but this was ridiculous. The staff were always friendly and made us feel welcomed. This is just one of those places that puts a smile on your face and makes you feel...

I drink double espressos and with those the only things affecting the coffee are the beans and the barista - there is no where to hide. At Mia my coffee had a clean, lightly citrus start due to the right amount of acid in it . The flavour lingered without getting muddy as it cooled. Its a very small cafe with a couple of tables in and outside and looks straight onto the back of an old church in the labyrinth of small winding alleys in the old town....
