An amazing experience, will come back and recommend to friends. To share more insights - we were greeted very nicely by the chef upon arrival, and seated to our table. There was a handful of specials. We received a great white wine recommendation that was a great pair with our dinner(our plan was to eat fish/seafood), it was very fragrant, a sweet and citrus scented, just lightly sweet. We started with edamame - great portioning between soy and garlic to dress the edamame with lots of taste. Then shared a miso soup which had shitake mushrooms, seaweed and fish - it had great flavor and texture. Tiradito hamachi was very fresh and fragrant, came with a spicy citrus and truffle sauce. The spice only kicked in after eating the hamachi, whilst the truffle was subtle and didn’t overpower the fish. The bonito tuna tataki was exceptional, it melted in my mouth, fresh taste, great portion. The croquetes with snowcrab were exceptionally delicious, light sauce dressing with chopped nori was a nice touch, the croquetes had a creamy texture. We also had a grilled tuna belly with miso sauce, which was from the evening specials - we didnt take pictures, but it was really good. Also a big shout to the staff that took care of us, rhey always asked what we thought about each meal and passed our notes to the chefs, the recommended wine suited our dinner and we felt really taken care of during our dinner. Thank you so much, we will be back soon!

Sake Izakaya is a traditional Japanese Izakaya with the advantage of the finest Spanish ingredients, the staff were very inviting and explained every dish, they also recommended us some fine delicious sake that paired perfectly with our food. I highly recommend ordering the bento lunch (From Monday to Friday), it consist in 6 small dishes (One of them, the main course, is chosen by the client) served in the traditional bento box, it also includes a soft drink.

Authetic japanese food with quality product and self made sauces and such. Made from ppl that has been in japan to learn the propper way and then bring them to us in malaga. The price is right if can value the quality of fresh product and no second hand frozen garbage. Its small and the kitchen is run by 2 amazing chefs and blanca as maitre who is super duper nice and friendly. So ye if the place is full the food will come little by little but this is more an authentic experience to share with friends rather than going to eat like a buffet till u are full for 10 euros. Its worth it if u have the money and the culture to appreciate it. Also in covid times they are doing their best and making their food with the same love and care as always.

Theres a ton of ppl in this world some might love it some might hate it but for me every time i have the chance i go there to drink some good sake eat my favourite aburi salmon with real kimizu i go there without a doubt also for my 2nd anniversary with my gf we had a lovely dinner there and i have a precious memory of that night and dat is priceless.

Keep up the good work guys💪💪...

We had high expectations going there and they did not disappoint. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the waiter because we unfortunately only know how to say thank you in Spanish and his English was a little hard to understand. But he was very patient and showed us images of the fish when trying to explain the chef's recommendation. The food was excellent. There are a few dishes I'd wish they did not prepare so elaborately. I think there's also beauty in simple ingredients and simple preparation. However, it was still extremely good and the ingredients very very fresh. We loved the squid and salmon sashimi. The squid had such a firm texture yet still melts in your mouth and mild sweet taste. To sum up, the service is great, presentation lovely, the price very reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly...
