It was just after 2pm when we arrived here. It was already busy inside . The waitress we spoke to seemed to take one look at us and thought tourist send them outside. She told us this was the only option despite us saying we could wait. If it had not been for a very kind lady who just left telling us that a table was now free we would have still been out in the 36 degree heat. Inside the atmosphere was very Spanish and there was a real buzz. We ordered tapas . Prawn and cuttlefish meatballs, jamon croquettes and salmojero soup. All were very tasty and we would have ordered more if the waitress had been nicer.

The only thing that stops this place from getting a full 5 star treatment would be the bad attitude of the waitress. Everyone else was amazing...

This place is located just outside the old ( closed) market. indoors looks very nice but it was hit and we like dining outdoors. I understand it gets busy but we arrived early ( around 8pm on a Sunday night) and were easily able to get a table outdoors. After about 9pm it was waiting list only. We mainly had Tapas, Paté de perdiz roja was delicious ( Partridge pate) Croquet-as ibéricas were excellent and were with a nice tomato aioli. Hice una reserva a nombre de mi pareja para cenar. Comentar, que en ningún momento al hacer la reserva te dan a elegir entre sala o barra del bar. Nosotros al llegar decidimos que preferíamos estar en la barra del bar porque solo queríamos tomar unos vinos y unas tapas y así se lo hicimos saber a la camarera que nos atendió. Pedimos permiso para poder sentarnos en la barra y dicha camarera nos acomodó en un sitio. Nuestra sorpresa fue que tras sentarnos y pedir la bebida, la camarera de la barra vino a increparnos y a regañarnos diciéndonos que si teníamos reservar para el restaurante (desconocíamos que había diferencia con el bar porque como digo anteriormente, nadie te lo pregunta en la reserva) tendríamos que haberla cancelado. Le explicamos la situación y la cosa parece que se queda ahí, pero no, minutos después viene un señor, que imaginamos sería el dueño del restaurante y viene a decirnos que si teníamos reserva no podíamos sentarnos ahí en la barra (cuando repito, una de las camareras ya nos había dicho que si podíamos) y que teníamos que irnos fuera a la terraza. En definitiva, un servicio borde, maleducado y una gestión nefasta pues pese a la insistencia de diferenciar entre bar y restaurante luego no tiene comunicación ninguna entre ambas partes. Íbamos a cenar pero finalmente casi nos obligaron a irnos, cuando el bar ni si quiera estaba lleno. Además, el ambiente entre el servicio deja bastante que desear y se hace patente entre los comensales, ya que tienes que escuchar gritos y malos comentarios entre camareros y cocina. No...
