Starting with the service, when we entered, no one greeted us for about 5 minutes, and we were left standing, unsure of where to sit. Additionally, the chairs in the sand area were quite uncomfortable. To top it off, we waited 15 minutes for the check and had to ask twice before it was brought to us.
The sardine espetados were excellent and perfectly grilled. The gambas were also well-cooked but felt a bit overpriced for the portion size.
Unfortunately, the French fries were just frozen and not fresh, which was a bit disappointing. The chocolate cake for dessert wasn’t great either — it had low-quality chocolate and a dense, unappealing crust.

The food is amazing, not too expensive, although the service can be a bit slow because the staff are over worked. Try to get a table on the beach, order a tinto de verano and chill out. If you are visiting Malaga, you have to try the Espeto de Sardinas, but definitely try one of their TORTILA DE BACALAO - It is simply superb. This was awesome. We were concerned this might be a bit of a tourist trap, it wasn’t. The food was excellent, the seating on the sea was awesome and the service was solid. We came for the Espetos, but also enjoyed the Jaiba and the Huevos along with some Tinto Verano and Sangria. Everything was on point, portions were fair and flavors were perfect. Everything was cooked with just a little salt, olive oil and garlic to let the flavors of the fish shine through. I think I could eat here everyday some Espetos and Tinto by the Sea sounds like a perfect meal...
