Burger King - T1 - Zona embarque — Restaurant in Madrid

By far the worst burger king I've ever been to. For the second time over one year, the same low level and incapable human being was the one serving me. This person strictly speaks Spanish at a busyinternational airport and this person even refuses to understand the name of the products in their original name, you see, in English. For this person to understand you, you must spell the products' names in the worst Spanish accent of English, or this person will refuse to understand you. Plus this person will speak faster so you'll definitely not understand a word. Expect this person to receive you with a "will you order or not? I want to close" hello, if you take more than 2 min deciding what you want from a screen and goes out with options for some time every 30 s.

Also expect to get soft not fully cooked fries.

Seriously, in the same order they missed giving us one item worth 10.9€ and they gave us a paid cheeseburger on a cheeseburger-written-package without, well, the cheese. I strongly advise you to double check the contents of all your items before you leave this person.

It's a shame that someone like this is giving the face of a business.

three months later, here I am checking how Burger King is striving to make my next experience better: This time I was presented with Coca Cola without gas. Actually any soda was without gas. Hilarious. The manager said it's an airport issue, as they get gas for airplanes or something. Plus, again they managed to give me a cheeseburger without sauces nor pickles. They solved this by giving us these small sauces packets and no care for pickles.

This time, all of them were a new team but they did strive to keep employing people who won't speak English at one of the busiest airports in Europe.

Well, that's Burger King. The quality of food is not different from the other BK places. Plant based burgers are served while not visible on the menu near takeout. These are listed in the order machines or you can simply ask for those once placing an order.

The sitting area is a bit small for the amount of people being served. Just cross the pathway and enjoy your meal near the window. Everything looks rather clean but I won't be surprised if sometimes it's not. One lady is serving quite a big area.

Location feels incorrect. BK is placed in Terminal 1 near C44/C45. You won't miss it.

Starts working at 9AM. Early flights, sorry.

I was surprised to see comments of food being subpar or being too expensive. 12.5€ for the full lunch in the airport is a bargain. And in relation to taste/quality. It's a BK, not a Michellen star restaurant. Set your expectations accordingly.

We dined in at 3.40 pm. The restaurant was quiet. Lots of staff present behind counter. The restaurant was disgracefully dirty. There was drink spillages and food on the floor. There was no floor cleaning staff. I asked to speak to the manager at the coffee shop. He was not polite. He told me that the coffee shop at Burger King was not part of Burger King. Yet when we we're leaving the restaurant, he was present with two staff dressed in Burger King attire in that area.. We sat beside restaurant for almost an hour and no restaurant cleaning staff appeared. In view of cleanliness and our past few years worrying about Covid, there was no element of hygiene in Burger King Terminal 1 Airport...
