Burger King T4 — Restaurant in Madrid

Tried this place twice now, both occasions were not great. But needs must. Madrid airport has one of the worst choices for food at any airport I’ve used, I don’t know why that is. I think Burger King must be quite new as I don’t recall seeing it before - and going by the number of reviews (6 at time I posted this) I think it is probably true. Strange though that the dining area etc doesn’t look new. The place is busy and even more than my first time because McDonald’s is closed for refurbishment. The dining area is large with many tables and seats available, and some with power outlets. Very little cleaning happening, with dirty tables and overflowing trash. There is limited number of order points and as a result there are many people waiting and getting close to you. Food is prepared quickly. Staff shout out order numbers when food is ready to collect, only in Spanish which is very unhelpful for an international airport with many international travellers. The screen with order status doesn’t work properly, orders are called before the number even shows on the screen. I resorted to hanging around the collection point and watching for my order number on a ticket. Prices are normal. Last meal I had, the burger was uncooked - I don’t like eating red burger patties. Not recommended, hope very soon there are more food choices and ones of higher quality, otherwise I’ll just skip eating...

Ridiculous how they shout the numbers only in Spanish. So they shout and shout and shout and no one gets them 💀. 3 days later: Thanks for your fast reply. nevertheless i have pointed this in several occasions and is been the same for years. Travelers from around the world are shouted numbers in Spanish, louder and louder, everyone between lost and shocked not...

Plant-Based Burger are awesome as we are used to have it in our home country. Amazing side-dishes and definitely some desserts which are worth trying!

Con: Always a lot of people, not much space and not a place to relax or have a chat with travelling partners while waiting for our flight (too much noise)
