Who doesn't like brunch? Went to the Casa Suecia Bubble brunch with a price tag of €30 and there are other options at a higher rate. With this package it's unlimited cava, about 8 small (bite sized) apps that are brought to the table, a main, and dessert + coffee. Now why would the food get 2 stars? None of the apps are anything to write home about, especially since everything I mean everything that hits the table is cold. Some items seemed to have sat for a considerable time getting soggy, out of the apps the mini burger although again cold was good and the salad. Apps included: bite sized Russian salad, shot of cold soup, hummus, salad, chicken fingers, and dumplings. The ambience was beautiful, and the cava did keep coming so for that I'd pay €20. My main course was fish and chips, also small and also came out cold. Servers were nice but service was slow and I attribute this to the reason for cold food. We then headed up stairs for the view, where one server was extremely brash and rude, other then him servers were delightful. Overall if you want to experience Casa Sucia grab a drink from their rooftop and maybe an appetizer, and cross your fingers if it's meant to be hot it comes out hot. The brunch on the other hand is a pass.

We had booked a dinner for 80 people in one part of the restaurant, followed by a drink at the rooftop bar. About 45 minutes before our dinner, another group was in our room and nothing was ready. The previously discussed round tables were not implemented. After asking that we wanted round tables, we were only told that it would not work now. The menu was with starters to share, a main course and a dessert. The starters were okay. The main course (meat) was a cheek. 80% of the guests didn't finish their meat. It was tough and inedible. Next to the meat there was only a small tomato and a small potato as a side dish (see picture). Furthermore, the service was overbearing, unfriendly and simply bad. At the end of the meal, the guests were forced upstairs to the root-top bar. There was a lot of stress so that everything could be cleared downstairs. We had drinks for all guests at the rooftop bar. The bartenders only gave out one drink per guest although we had a flat rate for the evening. We addressed these points afterwards. The location denied everything and did not make any concessions or apologies. Behavior that is not acceptable at all. Conclusion: We can only advise any group not to go here. Inferior, poor quality food and unfriendly and overbearing behavior from the service staff.

I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting an enjoyable dining experience and a sick-free night. Among several things that went wrong here were slow service, wrong orders (after the employee chose to take our order by memory), and almost everyone in our group feeling ill to violently ill less than an hour after our meal. The “mama” pasta was the worst culprit, with one of our friends throwing up an hour after eating it and the other who ate it with terrible stomach pains. Aside from the detriments to our health, the service was subpar. They brought out the wrong dish for one person. The three people who got the pasta all had different-tasting and different-looking meals. When asked for the bill, they took over 10 minutes to bring it out, with the waiter avoiding eye contact and running away from us several times before having a different waitress bring it over to us. In summary, you’d have a better dining experience anywhere else but here. EDIT: I’ve added a picture of the “mama” pasta that the waiter told us allegedly contained a “mushroom” sauce. Based on the taste (what little there was) and the color (I’ve never seen a purple mushroom), this was not the case.

Sadly the worst experience in a long, long time. We booked via Google to have a romantic dinner on the rooftop 2 days in advance. When we arrived the rooftop was not available and we were seated in the restaurant instead. The waiter was very friendly and the wine was good but that's sadly it. We asked whether the same menu would be served as on the rooftop, after receiving a yes we ordered the recommendations, the Peruvian and the pasta and the taste was beyond bad. We went for another dinner after that just to forget the experience. Turned out that the rooftop had a private event. Had we been informed about that in advance, like one would expect, we could have avoided this terrible experience. A date ruined. Please watch out and double confirm that your booking is actually on the rooftop.
