Izumo Aluche — Restaurant in Madrid

Let’s firstly talk about the neighbourhood. There is no high quality Japanese/Asian restaurants in Aluche. Chinese restaurants are a few, but… quality is simply OK. Some are pretty good, some others are cheap…

Having said this… This place is a buffet but with the cool thing of having the food served in your table. So we cannot talk about tasting excellent Asian dishes.

And besides, you won’t have to wait loooong times to be served

Sushi is not bad for being in an all-you-can-eat, frankly. The worst thing is they have a huge variety (sushi) but most of it have too many sauces on it which means not to be super tasty food. We did not try sashimi but we ordered Unagi nigiris (taking the risk!) and the eel was not bad.

Chinese dishes do not look to feel like ordering them. We tried the curry chicken and it was a very poor dish. Not to mention the quality of the chicken itself.

It was nice to try this place. Staff was quick and courteous. The restaurant is decorated pretty different from others and being a huge room, the noise was not something unbearable.

Anoche era la segunda vez que iba y me pareció caro para lo que ofrecen. Es cierto que tienen mucha variedad incluyendo mariscos y puede que de ahí el precio elevado, pero no repetiremos. En primer lugar, éramos 6 personas por lo que pedimos muchos platos, y pedimos a eso a eso de las 21:30. Al principio muy bien, llegaban los platos de forma ligera, como a los 15 minutos pero a eso de las 22:00 dejaron de traer comida y hasta las 22:45 no empezaron a traer más hasta las 23:20, cosa que me cuadra con que te sacies y así pagues la penalización de 2 euros por plato que te marcan en la carta si los dejas sin comer. Para traer bebidas también eran super lentos, teniendo que pedir hasta 3 veces porque no las traian. La comida no es que fuese una maravilla, en el nigiri de atún, el pescado era tan fino que se transparentaba y los bordes estaban secos de lo fino que eran, sin apenas sabor y los arroces de todos eran insípidos cuando el sushi de verdad, en el arroz tiene mucho sabor y pedí 3 platos de carne, el pollo con almendras (que venía sin almendras), la ternera con bambú y seta (venía literalmente 2 setas) y ternera con teriyaki que los 3 llevaban la misma salsa y sabor, una salsa densa y oscura que solo sabía salada y dulce. También hubo un par de ocasiones que nos trajeron platos que no habíamos pedido al igual que tras las consumiciones, pedimos vasos de agua y nos trajeron una botella que les devolvimos sin abrir porque no la habíamos pedido y tuvimos que reclamar en la cuenta porque nos la metieron. Si vas en fin de semana que el menú cuesta 20,95, más la consumición que te obligan a pedir porque si pides vasos de agua de primeras te dicen que mínimo una consumicion, es un restaurante caro para lo que ofrecen y el...
