As a Hispanic-Brazilian and a regular customer, I’m writing this review with the intention of helping improve a place that truly has the potential to be even better.
First issue: it’s unbelievable that a Brazilian restaurant does not provide a menu in Portuguese. On top of that, the menu itself is confusing, hard to follow, and it makes ordering a struggle. You can tell even the waiters have trouble navigating the system to take orders — it’s frustrating both for the staff and for the customers.
The service is inconsistent: sometimes it feels warm and welcoming, other times cold and almost bothered by the customer’s presence. It would help if the restaurant defined a clear identity — whether it wants to embrace a Spanish style of service or a Brazilian one. Usually, we don’t go to a restaurant to be a burden, but to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. And it’s no coincidence that many of the negative reviews here highlight the same issue.
When it comes to the food, however, there is nothing but praise: it’s delicious, well-prepared, and I always recommend it as the best place to truly discover and enjoy Brazilian cuisine. On this point, it’s excellent.
Now, the truly unacceptable issue: for years the restroom has had no toilet seat. This is simply absurd. Complaints have been made several times to staff and even owners (I assume they are the owners), whose response is that “they don’t replace it because people break it.” That excuse is unreasonable and damages the reputation of a place that could otherwise be...
Read moreWorst service I’ve ever had. Looked over the menu and asked the server if they had caipirinha's with passion fruit he said yes and then brought a frozen drink over which is not what I wanted. He said it’s what I ordered and it’s how it is on the menu, I explained but I didn’t ask for what was on the menu I asked if you had flavors for the caipirinhas. Long story short I asked him to take it back and bring a regular lime one he said he would still Charge for the drinks and I said fine. He took the drinks and then brought them back later and said we could have them when they melted while we waited for our other drinks and walked away. When he brought our drinks 20 mins later I advised him we didn’t want the frozen drinks at all because of the flavor and then he finally Took them back. Then we received the worse caipirinhas I’ve ever had in my life. Paid $32 euros for 4 drinks and drank half of two (me...
Read moreI went to this restaurant with a Brazilian friend and he told me if you want a taste of Brazil in Madrid then this is the place to go. The food is super tasty and at a reasonable price. Whether you are native to Brazil or looking to try Brazilian cuisine for the first time this place is perfect. Located just 5 minutes walk from Isla Filipinas Metro station this restaurant is pretty easy to find wherever you are in Madrid. The beers were cold and the service excellent 👌. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch with friends or families, I would even consider eating there alone! There is an outdoor seating area if you prefer to eat outside, although the restaurant is next to a very busy street with lots of traffic so bear this in mind if you are looking to eat outdoors. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too busy. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a welcoming...
