OX'S Fusión Parrillas & Cócteles Restaurante en Valdeacederas — Restaurant in Madrid

Pretty sure they opened very recently: prior to quarantine, there was a different restaurant here that was never open (Meson el Cordero) and it seemed a waste of terraza space. I've been to this one twice already, and it's no better or worse than the other two enormous restaurants in this plaza, with plenty of terraza seating. This one is especially nice because they have cooling mist inside the tent. Food is regular stuff, but they do have a section of the menu dedicated to Peruvian (hence, "fusion" in the name). Papas huancaina was interesting, but not €12 worth of interesting. The day's paella that they bring out as a tapa have actually been very good. No complaints about...

My wife and I had gone there for quick breakfast. We had ordered a coffee with milk and an americano, toasts and orange juice. The juice was good, so were the toasts with tomato juice and olive oil and a bit of salt, it tasted better than i had expected. But the thing i disliked were, the attention to the clients was very minimal, we had to go to the counter for bill, and the place really needs to be clean. Esta mañana nos hemos sentado en una mesa de esta terraza, al solecito, en lo que prometía ser un fantástico aperitivo dominguero, hasta que se ha convertido en el peor sitio que habríamos podido elegir para disfrutar del día. Mientras nos acomodábamos hemos escuchado cómo la clienta de la mesa de al lado le decía a la camarera que esa no era la bebida que ella había pedido. Que le pidió una cerveza sin alcohol y le estaba trayendo una caña normal. La camarera, de malas formas, le ha discutido que en ningún momento le había pedido sin alcohol, pero que si quería se llevaba esta y le traía la sin. Lógico si el cliente es el que manda... ¿no? ¿O ahora hay que tomarse lo que el camarero diga???... total que antes de entrar a hacer el cambio, ha pasado por nuestra mesa a preguntar qué queríamos y como mi acompañante ha dicho que una caña, va la camarera y con toda la normalidad del mundo, nos dice "ah pues le dejo ya esta que no la ha querido esa señora". Nos hemos quedado en shock, incapaces de reaccionar. Que te lo hagan sin que te enteres ok, lo asumo, pero que te lo digan a la cara... y encima ahora con esta situación del covid,... ¿holaaa? Cuando ya hemos reaccionado mi pareja ha ido a la barra a contar lo sucedido al encargado, con la caña en la mano, y lejos de pedir disculpas ha defendido a la camarera. Finalmente le han servido otra. Por cierto las tiran fatal, sin fuerza,... y la paella del aperitivo estaba más fría que Filomena... no creo que nos...
