This collection was the sole reason for our visit to Madrid, it's a long way from Manchester in a car but well worth the visit. The ticket prices were very reasonable and I was able to book online in advance. I am a huge Alonso fan, but I decided to visit when all my family could go, so we waited till the Easter holidays. I was a little concerned that my husband and daughters wouldn't enjoy it as much as me but thankfully they did. There were numerous exhibits to interest all the family. My daughters enjoyed the interactive track and the ps3 simulator. It was very amusing to see my 5 year old try and reach the pedals, but she did it and loved every minute. The collection is extensive and I particularly found interesting comparing the development of the cars throughout the years. I was surprised to see that even the steering wheels were in every car. There were workshops for the children as well, even though we didn't participate and displays regarding all aspects of F1, from tyres to the calendar. It is well put together for a private collection, every bit just as good as the F1 section at the Ferrari museum in Maranello. I really hope Fernando makes it a permanent exhibit and keeps adding to it. Definitely worth a visit...

This place was quite sobering. When we planned to go here, we didn't realize that it was set up with an Auschwitz historical theme. We hesitated for a moment before going in, but am so glad that we did.

I learned a lot walking through the building and reading all of the different facts. We were in there for about 2 hours, and could have spent another hour if we didn't have somewhere else we had to be. So incredibly informative.

If you are at all interested in human history, this is an absolute must.

The one change that I'd like to see, is to have more dates visible on the walls to give a better perspective on when each thing happened. It was chronologically in order, but including a timeline in each section would have...

He visitado la exposición de Auschwitz, y he quedado fascinado. Ha sido espectacular. Absolutamente recomendable!!

A través de las audioguías (recomiendo cogerlas al comprar las entradas), los carteles informativos y los vídeos, el visitante se sumerge en el tema nazi, el ascenso político de Hitler, la 2ª Guerra Mundial, el holocausto y el campo de concentración y exterminio de Auschwitz-Birkenau.

La exposición ofrece al espectador un fascinante y didáctico recorrido cronológico por la historia del famoso campo de concentración polaco. Todo está muy bien explicado (y de manera comprensible, algo muy importante), sin faltar detalle alguno a tratar. Además, se exponen OBJETOS ORIGINALES (muros, barracones, ropa...) de Auschwitz, para que nos hagamos una idea real del horror sufrido.

• Las entradas pueden comprarse en internet o en taquilla. Obviamente, aconsejo comprarlas por internet dada la gran afluencia de visitantes y, así, poder elegir día y hora para la visita. De esta forma puedes presentarte en la cola para entrar y evitar la cola de taquilla (además de evitar el riesgo de ir y que ya estén agotadas para ese día). Precios asequibles. Entre semana es más barato que el fin de semana. Hay descuentos para carne joven.
