Had lunch with wife Saturday the 2nd and we purchased 2 Roscones de Reyes ( traditional Christmas Spanish cake) comes with surprise inside like a small figure as tradition states...well today Sunday sunday the 3rd morning Family was shocked when we are going eat and find the shocking surprise of Human Hair inside a piece we cut for my Father. Very expensive Roscon that went straight to the Garbage! This is totally unacceptable and disgusting! Please be careful buying there the so called in traditionally made Roscones de Reyes!
UPDATE January 5th Customer service contacted me with regards to incident with my Roscon purchase and apologized for what happened. They also set out as a compliment another Roscon. Read moreI always liked to go and buy all kind of pastry and bakery there or in Serrano store since 2014, but the lady that attended me today was super rude since I requested to serve me the pastry in a box and denied it which I am used to get it in that way and I wanted 3 to 4 cakes! Plus the NEW HIGH PRICES which Mallorca increased and took away the weight for the bakery so you pay more compared to before (They didn't inform me for the NEW PRICES for the pastry neither, which I was obliged to leave the CAKES there and take just the bakery) In this economic situation most of businesses do care about how to preserve their customers and not lose...
Read moreHoy fui a desayunar a Pastelería Mallorca. Primero compré pan y, como siempre, la atención fue excelente por parte de Margarita, quien me atendió en el mostrador. Después desayuné allí con mi madre y Roxana, que nos atendió en mesa, fue igualmente amable y profesional. Ambas ofrecieron un servicio impecable.
Mi única queja es por una situación que presencié y que afectó mi experiencia. Mientras desayunaba en el interior, un señor mayor, sentado muy cerca de mi mesa, reclamó en dos ocasiones el croissant que había pedido. Escuché cómo una trabajadora —una chica con una trenza larga y gafas, que estaba preparando cafés en la barra— le respondió de mala manera, incluso diciéndole en voz alta “pues es lo que hay”, para después marcharse sin más. Entiendo que todos podemos tener un mal día, pero creo que no son las formas adecuadas para dirigirse a un cliente, y menos a una persona mayor que estaba sola desayunando.
