Arrocería — Restaurant in Madrid

At home I use salt a lot in my dishes, but here they use even more, at least it was the case today. Thinking better, this was a tourist trap. When the paella was brought to the table it came in a huge pan. The waiter served the dishes and brought back to the kitchen what didn't fit. Of course, if it was extremely salty, you won't wish to eat the rest. Also, after eating the bread and cheese they bring, you won't be so hungry either anymore. There was no AC. The toilet stinked. Thinking even better, this was cheating on us. When we asked for the cheapest paellas (15 eur per person) they said they didn't have them, or the ingredients to cook them. They only had ingredients for the more expensive one (21.50 eur per person). Don't eat there... I came to these conclusions after reading two of the last...

The meal is completely a scam. The Spanish soup (8.5 euros) is tasteless flooded by wasted oil ...the grilled vegetables and scrambled eggs (which are in fact a dish of French fries) are super super normal but they charge you more than 30 euros for those ...You can eat those by paying 10 euros in any other normal restaurants. The meal experience is terrible and the waiters are very pushy ...they don’t speak any English and they keep saying stuff nearby in an impolite manner in other languages, making you feel like not being charged enough. I wish everyone can have a chance of visiting this comment before having a thought to step in this...

We did get the bread in the beginning. If I didn't miss anything, we didn't get charged. Even if we did, it would be 1-2 euros and I don't teally understand people complaining about this. Food was quite good, We ordered Paella with lobsters and calmar rings. Both were really good and the portion size was also quite big. We didn't eat even half of the paella. Don't order anything else if you want to cope with the portion. The interior was clean but quite outdated. Toilet needs renovation and/or more attention. The prices were not a ripp off but we have eaten approximately the same menu for about 10% less in...
