Quaint little place with delicious, traditional Spanish food. Great variety of dishes to choose from, made with fresh ingredients, and the portions are a great size. Daily specials at $12 are some of the best priced in the neighborhood considering the value. I highly recommend the “pote gallego”, “potaje de garbanzos”, “lentejas”, “entrecôte”, and especially the “costillas” —they really do fall right off the bone. For dessert, they serve homemade flan, a luxury that is increasingly difficult to find these days! Service is quick and friendly, a welcome bonus to an overall excellent experience. I’m on my way to becoming a regular!

10/6/2022 Santa Cruz, CA, USA Honeymooners We were just passing through Madrid and this was next to the train station. One of the funnest restaurant experiences in Spain and we’ve been all over. After Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Cordoba and Toledo, we needed more cultural experience of getting comp tapas served with our drinks. If you’re in a hurry and American, look no more; as you know this is quite rare in Spain. Excellent, expedited and fun, entertaining customer service ever, food & drinks were good too for the value. They will take care of you! Take care of them, sit at the bar ♥️ 6 drinks 20 Euros 💶 😉👌🏼

Ideal place to have a brewery with a lid of chickpeas with tripe. Right next to the station. My idea was to have lunch at noon but the indoor restaurant opens at one in the afternoon. I chose to stay at the bar and order a double beer and a serving of Galician octopus.. Great octopus. They have a very economical menu. The issue of accessibility is very limited as it is a narrow and very busy place, but the outdoor terrace is a good option.

Really bad everything, first we had to wait 1:30 hours because they were cleaning the kitchen, finally when the food came, the “Pote Gallego” of my friend was pretty good, the “spaghetti bologna” was too bad without any taste of fresh tomatoes, it was made with only tomatoes paste... then the second dishes was awful both of them, my garlic chicken was too dry or old, or both of them, and with a lot of oil in the dish, and my bacalao fish on tomato sauce was pretty normal, the fish was ultra-frozen or frozen for long time before be prepared, nothing fresh cause I’m a big fan of fish, and bacalao is my fav fish, it wasn’t good... and the fries potatoes that came with both of second dishes was old and sticky... the only good was the desserts (whisky cake and flan) and the drinks, it seems more to be a place for drink that for eat, the kitchen is very bad, more into bar than restaurant, wouldn’t recommend for people who want to eat something nice or something normal at least... but would recommend for have drinks, and the waiter was kind and nice, I mean the service was good... bad is the chef or whatever they can...
