If you're looking for a museum experience that's anything but traditional, IKONO in Madrid is an absolute must-visit. This isn't a place for quiet contemplation of art; it's an interactive, sensory adventure designed to ignite your imagination and create some truly unforgettable moments (and photos!). Located conveniently near the Reina Sofía Museum, IKONO transports you to a series of eclectic, immersive worlds. Over approximately an hour, you'll move through more than ten unique rooms, each designed to stimulate different senses. From vibrant light installations to tactile textures and playful environments, every space offers something new and unexpected. What makes IKONO stand out is how it encourages you to become part of the art. You're not just observing; you're interacting, playing, and creating your own memories. The famous ball pit is a highlight, bringing out the inner child in everyone, and there are countless opportunities for incredible, shareable photos. Whether you're posing with phosphorescent graffiti, wandering through a "bamboo forest" of glowing lanterns, or experiencing a room with unusual perspectives, your camera will be working overtime. It's suitable for all ages, making it a fantastic activity for families, friends, or even solo travelers looking for a unique and fun outing. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. While it might not be a "museum" in the classical sense, IKONO excels at providing a dynamic, engaging, and highly visual experience that leaves you with a smile and a camera roll full of fantastic memories. It's a refreshing break from typical sightseeing and a truly unique addition to Madrid's...

Ikono in Madrid completely blew us away! I went thinking it would just be something fun for the kids—but I ended up having just as much fun, if not more. It’s a fully immersive, interactive experience that lets you explore at your own pace without a ton of strict rules. You can even go back to your favorite rooms, which made it feel way more relaxed and enjoyable than similar spots we’ve tried elsewhere.

Compared to the same concept in New York, it was a fraction of the price (literally 1/6!) and somehow even better. The service? Incredible. Massive shoutout to Naomy, Matias, and Ori—your warmth, energy, and generosity made our visit so special. You didn’t just help us create memories—you sent us home with a meaningful gift that we’ll treasure forever.

I’m already planning to visit Ikono Barcelona next. If it’s anything like this one, we’re in for another...

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING TICKETS: We went in expecting an interesting and immersive experience and left within 15 minutes. As soon as we walked in we felt extremely disappointed and couldn’t believe it was that. This location is an absolute rip off and a joke. It’s insane how a place like this charges €15 per ticket, people should be refunded after experiencing such a disappointing and misleading “museum”. There aren’t 15 “room” there are maybe 15 different areas set up in 8 rooms that were created with minimal effort and creativity. I have no idea how this place has such high reviews, they are probably all bought. Every single negative review is met with the same copy and paste response which goes to show that they don’t really take the time to really evaluate and consider the...
