I'm always skeptical about each country's interpretation of Thai food, but this restaurant got it right. I've definitely had some less than typical versions, but this recipe was very delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the spice was just right; I was really glad that the noodles weren't mushy and that the spice balance was just right. There was also a slight sweetness to it which made it even better for me. I found this place after a quick maps search while I was waiting for a load of laundry to finish around the corner and this one was the only restaurant that was open from the ones that I saw. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My waitress didn't really speak English and I'm horrible at Spanish, but she wasn't frustrated, she was patient and polite and I really felt good about that. We found out quickly that this is probably not the case when we sat down to eat, since all the dishes taste very different, and not quite as good as our regular place. Their pricing is also higher, probably to compensate for the 30% discount they offer on the fork. Aroy did the trick in a pinch, but we were left a little disappointed. It is probably worth it for dine in with the...
