Chambi — Restaurant in Manacor

If you're ever lucky enough to find yourself in beautiful Porto Cristo then you're already winning in life but don't miss this absolute gem of a place whilst there.

After another wonderful holiday on la isla bonita of Mallorca (is there actually anywhere better to go on holiday?) I got to thinking about some of my favourite spots and Chambi is undoubtedly one of them.

Great food, delicious ice cream and smoothies, the BEST coffee and cakes and, most importantly, the loveliest of Mallorcan people who welcome you with smiles and serve you so politely.

A massive thank you to the whole team but a very special thank you and shout-out goes to my lovely, superstar waiter Pedro who helped me out so much with some excellent recommendations for restaurants and locations to visit whilst on my trip. (Forget the guidebook and always ask a friendly local!)

Plus, he and his boss helped me source my new favourite coffee to take back to the UK (in so doing saved me time and a trip to Manacor to find it myself) and it really restores one's faith in humanity when people you've just met are willing to go above and beyond to help you out like that! Thank you so much, guys, you're awesome.

So this place is definitely worthy of 5 stars from me. In summary, it's a truly great find in the heart of a gorgeous little town...just go and experience it for yourself and tell them...

We found this lovely restaurant in Porto Cristo this summer (August 2022) and so glad we did !

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children.

Lovely food and very reasonable prices. Family business run by father, mother and son Pedro (but call him Jamie - he will love it !)

I don’t normally write these reviews but truly felt it was worthy, trust me. If something is not right just tell them, they want your business and will sort it.

I can’t wait to come back to Porto Cristo and I certainly will be going back there !

Hangulatos kis családi kávézó Mallorca keleti partján, Porto Cristo városában a tengerparton, amit mindenképp érdemes meglátogatni, ha a szigeten járunk. A személyzet mindenkit hatalmas mosollyal üdvözöl, a kiszolgálás extra gyors és minden sütemény, fagylalt házilag készül így minősége első osztályú és természetesen nagyon finom! Amit mindenképpen ki kell próbálni, az a helyi fagylaltspecialitás, az Especial Mallorca, ami mandula, füge és krém katalán ízeket takar, valamint a carajillo, ami kávé jó erős rummal felturbózva. Csak ajánlani tudom!

Cozy little family cafe on the east coast of Mallorca, in the town of Porto Cristo at the beach, which is definitely worth a visit if you are on the island. The staff greets everyone with a huge smile, the service is extra fast and all cakes, cookies and ice cream are homemade, so their quality is first class and of course very delicious! What you definitely have to try is the local ice cream specialty, the Especial Mallorca, which covers the flavors of almond, fig and cream catalan, as well as carajillo, which is coffee boosted with strong rum. Highly recommended!

Pequeña y acogedora cafetería familiar en la costa este de Mallorca, en el pueblo de Porto Cristo en la playa, que definitivamente vale la pena visitar si estás en la isla. El personal saluda a todos con una gran sonrisa, el servicio es muy rápido y todos los pasteles y helados son caseros, por lo que su calidad es de primera clase y, por supuesto, ¡muy deliciosos!
