We stopped here for lunch because it had good reviews but were left feeling disappointed in the experience. There was a daily lunch special written on the board placed outside of the restaurant and when we had decided to order, the waitress told us there was no special and we needed to order the same things from the menu (which cost 3x the price). They left the special board outside to attract people in, which made us feel like we entered into a trap. We were the only guests there at 12:30 and the kitchen wasnât yet âreadyâ so we had to wait with some beers. Also felt like a money trap, to order rounds of drinks while we wait.
Now to the food: I ordered the burrito which came 20 minutes after my friendsâ food. They were done eating by the time it came out. It was impossible to eat. That burrito was so wet that it was making a pool on the plate and got soggy quickly. I tasted the food on the other dishes and it was good, so they have some potential.
Overall I hope they read this and make some changes to be more accommodating to paying clients because it left a not so...
Read moreThe place is located in a quiet little street where you can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of a Spanish town. Our main reason for visiting was the coffeeâthis is the only spot in town and the wider area offering specialty coffee.
We ordered an excellent, juicy cold brew, double espresso and some homemade lemonades, with the hibiscus and mint combination standing out as a real hitâspot on.
After looking through the menu, we couldnât resist and ordered some food as well, choosing several different tacos. The Osobuco tacos were truly something specialâthe flavoring of this version was absolutely brilliant.
We really enjoyed our time at your place, a lovely spot in a tourist-friendly location. The staff was also incredibly friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Wishing you the best of...
Read moreI was excited to try this place because of the good reviews and as I've visited authentic Mexican restaurants on the Mexican border and in Mexico itself. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't comparable. Every Mexican restaurant I've been to, whether you're spending five dollars or five hundred, is friendly and welcoming. Here the person serving was rude and unfriendly from the beginning (as other reviewers have said). We waited a long time to order, even though the place was deserted, and when we did get to it, the server disappeared twice midway through. The second time we just left. I saw another couple being treated dismissively, and criticised for their menu choices. Surely people should be free to order what they want and be treated pleasantly as a...
