Always always always exceptional. Honestly, we've been here so many times. I'm really funny with Indian food, I'm from Birmingham and have eaten Indian food pretty much all of my life. Having lived here in Spain for six years, it's bloody hard to get "proper" Indian food, it's almost never quite right, but they always have it absolutely spot on here, you could be in the heart of Birmingham eating absolutely banging Indian food. The service is always spot on, friendly, happy, not over the top. The atmosphere is superb too, overlooking the marina in Duquesa and the portions are really generous too. I genuinely can't fault the place, a very happy find for us. If you come more than once, they'll remember you too, a really nice touch. Sonny the front of house manager is really in the ball too. Indian food is decent and well spiced, but rather oily. Mexican food looks and tastes a bit better. However...

Please skip the deserts: terribly dry factory brownie and cheap vanilla ice cream with old chocolate sauce that doesn't even come close to anything that should be called chocolate. 'Out of season' should not be an excuse, as buying a brownie kit in the supermarket delivers better results than the served one. No lava cake or warm fudge either. Mentioned this, but the staff left it at that. And ready made cream from a can? It takes less than a minute to whip this fresh.

The pancakes with apples were hardly better. Served with the same bland vanille icecream, cream and sauce.

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Chilli. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour—perfectly spiced, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. It was, without question, the best Indian food we've ever had.
