Sabor Toscano — Restaurant in Manilva

Had my worst experience ever in a resturant here Due to a very aggressive owner Andrea's. I have been coming to dequesa with my family for a long time . We have always enjoyed sobor toscano . However my last experience was so terrible that myself or my family will not be back ever again . I came to book a table for 6 people and was met with aggressive and threatening behaviour . Over the years my dietry requirements have changed so while booking the table I asked do they have options for vegans ? He simply starting shouting at me waving his arms like a mad man and shouting no vegans get out ! While shooing me out .. I left in complete confusion and in tears . His behaviour was completely disgraceful and unhinged. We always recommend to friends now to go to paripiros or il capitano because of this awful unprofessional and upsetting experience . It should not be labelled vegan friendly online they do not want your business !

This was our second visit within a week. On the first visit we had just arrived in Spain and wanted to grab a late dinner. We sat outside and had Spaghetti Carbonara and Lasagne - both of which were delicious. On this visit we popped in and booked a table - I would recommend that you make a reservation as it gets very busy. When we arrived we were seated at a table by the bar. This looked far from ideal but it turned out to be OK. It gave us a great vantage point to watch how hard the staff work to ensure that they keep everyone happy in a very busy restaurant! We ordered Fried Prawns and Garlic Bread to start Ravioli and Tortellini for mains Tiramisu for desert All washed down with Vodka and Red Wine All of the food was delicious although we would have preferred a little more alcohol in the Tiramisu! There are lots more Italian Restaurants nearby that would value your custom better than this one! Four of us tried to eat at this place on Sunday evening and were turned away by Andreas the head waiter. Our crime apparently was my friend's expression of disappointment when asked by Andreas if everything had been ok on his previous visit, as his party had been placed at a table under a dripping air conditioner and had a long wait for a table which had been booked! My friend has an apartment locally and eats out each evening at many of the restaurants in Duquesa when he and his wife holiday there.
