We previously knew this location as Mahiki Beach and were pleasantly surprised to find Calma here this evening. The owner remains the same, but there has been a management change.
Calma in Marbella impresses on every level. The atmosphere is elegant without being stiff – perfect for a relaxed dinner or special occasions. A highlight is that you can dine indoors in a stylish setting or outside with a view of the sea.
The food is exceptional. We enjoyed grilled prawns, where the smoky flavor came through perfectly, as well as linguine with seafood – plenty of mussels, clams, and prawns, fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The salmon with curry sauce and assorted vegetables was precisely cooked and perfectly seasoned.
The service is outstanding: attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. The hostess Belén creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making you feel immediately at home.
The price-quality ratio is spot on – Calma is an absolute recommendation, both culinarily and overall!

Read moreunfriendly staff, below average food, manager with no knowledge of what is being served, one of the worst restaurants in Marbella. The restaurant is misleading because when ordering tuna tartare it was not written anywhere that shrimp sauce was used (I have never experienced it without stating it somewhere). By law you are obliged to state allergens and not write in small letters at the end of the page for the customer to inform you, it is your duty to warn the customer about allergens if you add ingredients that are not listed in the food you offer. The reaction of the waiter and the manager was that they said that they would not replace our food and that it was our fault that we did not notice that they wrote in small letters on the menu if you are allergic, please notify us because we add allergens to the dishes. The worst approach I have experienced, but after visiting restaurants I learned from several people that this restaurant is not popular...
Read moreWorse place I have ever been in Marbella . Absolutely not recommend. They don’t have service in the beach. First they told me that i needed to go and pay in the bar and then they’d take it to my bed . I go to the bar and order but they told me that I can’t eat in the beach and if I wanna drink it must be in plastic glasses. ( cocktails aswell ) . The music they play was really bad and further more , it was people in the beds with a speaker playing something like Russian Techno . So my head made whatever but relax and enjoy . What a torture . The fabric from the beds was dirty …I will never come back again . I check the prices of the beds in google where it said 10€ for the single ones and they made me pay 15€ ( 27th September = not...
