Just amazing. We went here with friends who have worked in Michelin star restaurants, and they said this was one of the best meals in their life. Spanish chefs cook pure Japanese style, young and full of enthusiasm. Only 12 lucky people at the counter each night, or perhaps less. We prefer the counter to the private room, because you can interact with the chef, sommelier and other guests during the meal.
The evening was an explosion of savors, umami, and surprises, the use of hot coals to sear some of the dishes and crisped seaweed over the hot coal fire were amazing.
Nintai is probably on the way to getting a 2nd Michelin star so book quick before the prices go up!
This neighborhood is amazing and full of independant, new, young Michelin recommended restaurants. Read moreNintai is an unparalleled dining experience that transforms food into art. Each dish is a masterful composition of flavors, with unique combinations and textures that surprise and delight the palate. Even as someone hesitant about eel, I found myself captivated by its preparation and presentation—testament to the chef’s extraordinary skill.
The storytelling accompanying each course added depth and intimacy to the meal, with both the chef and servers passionately explaining the inspiration behind every plate. Watching the dishes being crafted in real time elevated the experience, making it as much a feast for the eyes as for the taste buds.
From start to finish, the precision, creativity, and execution were impeccable. Desserts, equally innovative, provided a perfect conclusion to this immersive journey. Nintai is a destination for those who seek not just a meal, but a...
