Restaurante Tanino San Pedro — Restaurant in Marbella

Just back from a lovely meal at Tanino San Pedro where my friend and I had 5 Tapas dishes, a jug of sangria and 2 cocktails. Food and service was very good and we enjoyed the experience. The bill was 98 euros and a generous tip was left. On return to our accommodation I reviewed the bill and was confused with a charge for '2 cubierto = 4 euros". On checking Google I found out this was a charge of 2 euros pp for USE OF CUTLERY which it explained is illegal in Spain. We had intended returning before the end of our holiday with our party but this has left an unfortunate feeling of exploitation. Another newish restaurant with identity crisis. Thai, Chinese, European and some Mexican dishes. I had a burger, which was ok, but the minced beef was medium minus minus. I had asked for medium. The staff was friendly, but my waiter did nothing, when I informed her about my raw beef. Competition around this location is fierce as there are many quality restaurants right next to each other, for example Da Bruno and Gloton. Over the years we have been going to Tanino and have had mixed experiences. We love the vibe, the decor and the service is good. Our experience this last time is that we feel a bit ripped off. I order a hamburger, which was tiny and for the price, I was expecting something a bit more substantial. They use a very plain bun and there is not much on it.
