Taberna con H — Restaurant in Marbella

A good first impression was quickly destroyed by the owners attitude. She was unexplainably rude, twice, to an extent that we left the place due to her humiliating behaviour. (First time in my life.)

What happened: Friday evening, busy but no queues. My Spanish friends and I arrived and ordered drinks swiftly. The barman was kind and helpful. After 45 minutes waiting I walked up to the bar, attempting to order a few tapas. When I was about to say anything, the owner interrupted and in a rude tone stated "the waiter will come to the table when he comes". I was a bit shocked but accepted it and walked back to our table. 15 minutes later still no one came to us, it was obvious that they notoriously avoided our table. The owner was chatting with people and kept herself busy inside "doing stuff".

When I went inside to pay our bills, the owner was bitter, humiliating as she started to speak loudly and unacceptably about us to others around.

There are fantastic alternatives in the area , and thanks to her we found another great place to eat which we will recommend to all. This is no fault of the staff and is a review...

My friend went to this restaurant recently, and had an absolutely horrendous experience. The music was far too loud, even to an extent that my friend couldn't hear his acquaintance across the table. Due to this deafening noise, my friend stood up courageously and complained politely to the owner of this establishment. The answer my friend received was genuinely preposterous; my friend's query was rudely rejected by this woman, and her husband (the head chef) barked rudely at my friend. The owner seemed to be more interested in entertaining her own friends rather than LOYAL, PAYING CUSTOMERS. A joke of a restaurant with a staff full of clowns. Do...

Fatal. Éramos clientes habituales de dejar cuentas de 200 y 300 euros. Esta noche se han lucido. Nunca volveremos. Llegamos a las 9:30. Nos informa el camarero de que les ha fallado un camarero y un cocinero y que tengamos paciencia. Lo cierto es que en la calle en lugar de las mesas habituales solo habían colocado tres, con lo cual tenían menos mesas que atender. Nos sentamos dentro, Solo hay dos mesas libres y nos sentamos en una de ellas. Al rato de ponernos las bebidas le hago señas al camarero de que nos tome la comanda, pasa por delante y dice que va a tomar antes nota a la mesa de al lado, que han llegado después y después nos toma nota a nosotros. Por lo visto el camarero y el cocinero no era lo único que había faltado, tampoco tenían huevos, tostas de pulpo ni de solomillo ibérico. Al cabo de un rato veo que a la mesa esta que había llegado después le empieza a traer platos y a nosotros no nos pone ni unas míseras aceitunas para amenizar la espera. Seguimos esperando y le sigue trayendo todos los platos a la mesa de al lado y a nosotros no nos trae ni los aperitivos que habíamos pedido antes de los platos fuertes (unas cuantas tostas, pan bao con codillo, hamburguesitas...) TRAS UNA HORA y tres rondas de cervezas nos llega el camarero y nos dice que las tostas que habiamos pedido se les han acabado y que pidamos otra cosa, aún no ha traido ni un solo plato a nuestra mesa y ya se ha ido la mesa de al lado que llegó después y que le tomaron la comanda antes que a nosotros. Le pedimos la cuenta de la bebida y nos fuimos a comer a otro sitio. JAMÁS VOLVERÉ.
