VACkO Grill — Restaurant in Marbella

As an American who has recently moved to Spain, I’ve had a hard time finding a good burger spot as nothing quite hits close to home, until I found Vacko grill. I was recommended vacko by a friend and tried it on a hunch, which ended up being not only the best burger I’ve had in Spain but all around restaraunt I’ve ever been too. I ordered the cheeseburger and my wife ordered the mixed grill.

The burger to begin with was an instant classic for me. Nothing over the top (they didn’t reinvent the wheel as many Europeans tend to do) but rather kept it simple, and straight blast to the tastebuds with a flavor to die for. Three whole layers of meat accompanied with the home made burger sauce which really stole my heart.

As my wife went to town on the mixed grill I couldn't help but to fork a few pieces of steak my way out of curiosity! What I had bitten into just happened to be one of the most tender yet flavorful pieces of meat I’ve ever encountered.

Yet even though the food was absolutely devine! I’d have to say the heart and souls of the kitchen were the owners Stefy and Javi who personally attended to us (as well as a full restaurant) and made us feel at home, very helpful with there suggestions (as my wife can be quite picky hehe) and all so doing with a smiling face. We were looking for a restaurant within easy walking distance from the bus station and came across this amazing spot. My husband had a steak cooked perfectly medium rare and I had delicious nachos full of freshly prepared ingredients. I'm glad we made reservations. Pongo una estrella porque no se puede poner ninguna. Somos clientes habituales.Solemos pedir siempre el mismo pedido. Hoy hemos vuelto a pedir y cuando abro la bolsa me encuentro que no vienen las patatas cobrando 17 euros por cada hamburguesa. Llamo para reclamar y me contesta una persona bastante desagradable diciéndome básicamente que es lo que hay y que la próxima vez mire mejor si he seleccionado las patatas que cobran lo mismo con patata que sin patatas a lo que le contesto que he seleccionado las patatas porque es el pedido que hago siempre y siempre le ha llegado con las patatas. El trato así al cliente es desafortunado y deja mucho que desear del establecimiento y más cuando pides muchas veces allí y te tratan así en vez de comprobar que el error ha sido suyo ya que no les salía la selección de las patatas y podrían haber llamado perfectamente ya que para cuando no encuentran el portal o la calle si utilizan el número de teléfono del cliente. Encima me dice como que tampoco es para tanto que no venga las patatas en el pedido. Perdona? 17 euros cada hamburguesa y no es para tanto que no venga con las patatas?.
