Raw traditional, extremely traditional... I booked a show at this restaurant at 09.00 pm to have time to have dinner at our hotel because in the price of the ticket of the show you have a free drink. We arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes before the starting time of the show. I have to tell you, the restaurant is placed on a very crowded road, especially during evenings, thousands of tourists walking all over the road. So if you plan to go there by taxi you have to consider the driver will take you only to a certain point, well before the restaurant. But some of them, very skilled ones, will sneak through the crowd, at a speed of maximum 1 mile per hour or 2km/h for europeans, slowly than you were walking. The taxi driver who took us there was very professional and was driving at 2,5 mph, crazy!!!, through the angry (sometimes) crowd. But we were in time. You have to be there 30 minutes before start time, be advise. At the entrance, there is an young lady who checks your ticket and asks about what you want to drink. Then you are invited to wait outside, at a table and a gentleman brings you the drinks you ordered. The place were the show is held has no windows so you can't see inside. Then 10 minutes before the start time you are invited in. There is the firs impression, of the inside: it is very, very traditional, like an old pub. There are, I think, maximul 30 places, so the show it is somehow a little bit private, sensation amplified by the space which is not very generous. The performers are so close to the audience you can hear their breathing during dancing so small is the place. There are no rows, the chairs are aligned along the wall of the room and there are no tables to put your drinks but there are some metal supports, very ingenious created to hold your glass of drink. There are 5 performers: 2 women and 3 men. One of the man is singing at a guitar, one vocal and the other one is a dancer. There are 5 dances in all show, very long dances, performed individually or in group. The dances are very, very, very intense. I've never seen something like that, so much passion, entuziasm and professionalism put in a dance. At a moment I had the impression that the wooden floor is going to break and the dancer will fall in the basement. I don't know if those were modern flamenco dances, looks like, and if they were than they were the very raw of flamenco, the "great grand mother" of flamenco, with a subtile touch of gypsy dance style. For the eye, it was a pleasure, something unique. Not to mention the tap rate, the speed the dancer are tapping, will send Fred Astaire to the begging classes. Some times, they are dancing so intense I have the sensation of hearing an M250 light machine gun firing. It was very intense. There were also some solo guitar moments. It wasn't what I expected, something very light, commercial, with rhythm to tap or to clap your hands. There was something very profound, extremely professional, transmitting a feeling of hard life, pain and sensation of fighting with the unfair ways of human existence. You will hear a lot of gypsy musical chord, embedded in every song. Just close your eyes and feel the music. As I said the performers are extremely close to the audience so, sometimes the sound of the shoes hitting the floor could be very loud. But, it is part of the show and it could be very fascinating. The show develops in a very low light, and combined with the ceiling very low, the arrangement of the chair, the pictures on the wall and the air inside you might have the sensation of an old inn, old pub. At the end of the show you are invited to have pictures with the protagonists, if you want. But be advised, after such an effort they are sweat, if you don't bother. I recommend absolutely this show if you want to see something authentic, something you rarely can see. It is a must see if you want to approach, just for a few moments, to the spanish old basic tradition more from countryside.

I thought I would treat myself to a nice evening of flamenco as I have seen flamenco shows in Madrid and Torremolinos and loved it but sadly it wasn't to be! The show was supposed to be from 19h30 to 20h30. It started 10 minutes late with a 5 minutes of flamenco followed by a guitar solo (no dancers) for the next 20 minutes. Eventually there was dancing again but in total we had about 25 minutes of a flamenco show as the performers ended at 20h30 sharp! The room is so small and we were lined up on small wooden chairs along the wall on each side (see photo). They also demanded a tip at the end!!! I paid €49 for a zone A place instead of the €39 for regular but I have no idea what I paid extra €10 for? I see that they have 4.9 stars on Google but when you read, you realise it's for the food and not the show.

We had a fantastic evening enjoying an authentic flamenco dance show that lasted about an hour—just the right length to soak in the energy and passion of this traditional Spanish art form. With a glass of wine in hand, we watched the dancers perform with incredible intensity, emotion, and rhythm. The music, the movement, and the atmosphere all came together beautifully. It was a great family experience—our kids were completely captivated by the performance, and it sparked a lot of curiosity and excitement. We followed the show with a lovely dinner, making it a perfect night out. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area and looking for a cultural experience with a vibrant, emotional flair.

We were so lucky we could enjoy a REAL typical Flamenco night in this amazing place Located in a square in the middle of the Old Town they even provide us a Vegan menu of 3 courses plus a fruit salad so we could have dinner in this dreamy environment and then enjoy the Flamenco performance performed by 5 amazing dancers and musician. After the dinner they take you on the first floor of the restaurant where the magic happens...you totally forget of the world outside to immerse yourself in the pure singing and dancing tradition of Spain. You can't believe what's happening, how they can sing and dance in that way that make you feel in a movie...there are not enough words to describe how beautiful and incredible it is...we were totally amazed and kidnapped by the performance and the performers. We booked from Lisbon one week in advance (but we recommend to book even before cause is really really busy) and Danila♥️ at the phone provide us with all the help we need to have everything prepared for us Vegans and to enjoy the night without thinking about anything. Tablao Flamenco Marbella made us live one of the most amazing and incredible experience of our life. Totally, totally recommend. Look forward repeat the experience What an...

I think it's important to point out that this was our first ever experience of flamenco.

We were led to an upstairs elongated room which was air conditioned and adorned with objet d'art hanging from the ceiling and walls. I didn't know what to expect

To describe too much would be to spoil the experience but the guitarist, the two male singers, the two female dancers and the piece de resistance male dancer created something that will stay with me forever.

You need to buy into that this is a story being told in music, words and dance. You do not need to understand the language of Spanish but you will experience an understanding of the sheer passion and energy that these people generate as they sing, shout, play and dance. I tried to keep time but it's impossible. The timings are complex yet beautifully co ordinated.

In that intimate enclosure the deep breathing of the dancers as they gyrated around the room was breathtaking and you could feel how they became almost lost in the moment, trance like. Incredible. I was exhausted when I left.

So go. Have dinner before the show, they do a...
