La Siesta Golf — Restaurant in Mijas

Food excellent, waiters very efficient, knowledgeable and welcoming. The menu at 17 euros per person is extremely good value for money.

We didn't get a bottle of wine just a couple of pints of San Miguel and 2 glasses of white wine. All together 46€. Well worth it.

The ambience and the views from the outside terrace were amazing. We could see the outline of the coast of Africa across the sea.

Now the greens are back to scratch La Siesta is the place where serious golfer can have a day off playing long course and concentrate on the game that counts- The Short Game. Spend some time honing your ability here and you will see the difference when you do your next round on a par 70+ course.

Relax on the terrace and gaze...

Play here a couple of times a year and its usually in good condition. However, the greens (all of them) are currently in a poor state. Some sort of weed infestation that has killed most of the grass? Still enjoyable for short game practice (6 of the 9 holes are a pitch and putt) in a nice quiet setting, but I would give it a month or so for them to sort...
