LemongrassFusion — Restaurant in Mijas

We went to LemongrassFusion which promoted themselves on Facebook group in our area. It was so DISAPPOINTING. The location was not nice: next to highway thus very noisy. Parking was not easy unless you were lucky to find a place. The table and menu were not clean, and felt like a restaurant in a village. The foods were bad and expensive. We ordered sushi (9 pieces) which was priced at 16 euro and they gave us 30% discount for promotion which was 11 euro. Small pieces with small amount, portion was smaller and more expensive than what you can buy from the supermarket. In Marcodona you buy a box of suchi (12 pieces with fish and other nice stuff) with costs less than 9 euro. The service was not good either. We saw staff (chef) smoking outside next to us. I would never go there again and defintely not recommend you...

Visited as a couple following the reviews. Overall an average - very good stay. The positives - food tasted fresh and was presented well. Constructive feedback - table service could be a bit more attentive. Let your customer know that there are no rice/noodles included in the over 10€ dish (which then makes it not value for money) at point of ordering rather than when delivering it. The constant (and I mean constant) flow of handbag hawkers etc and people trying to play instruments really damages whatever shred of ambiance you have. Rather than try to ignore the issue, why don't you encourage them to move on. Read other reviews and thought it couldn't be that nice. WRONG! This is a must go to restaurant. Was quiet when we arrived early and we were anxious but once the first course mixed starter was presented we just knew it was only going to make us smile. Thai is one of our favourite choices and this very personal quaint restaurant is at the top of places we have had the pleasure to eat.
