Restaurante Enriques — Restaurant in Mijas

I went here on a Sunday evening (8pm). The waiters were friendly and professional. We ordered gambas de pil pil as a starter. It was lovely. Had a nice flavour to it. I would have preferred it a little more spicy but it didn't spoil my enjoyment. For our main courses we ordered beef milanese. It comes with spaghetti. It was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection. We also ordered a chicken ceasar salad. There was a good amount of chicken and the salad was fresh and crispy. We didn't have dessert because we were so full. The portions are big and definitely good value for money. Enriques seems to be more easy on the wallet compared to other restaurants near by. How they manage to keep their prices low and still use ingredients of a high quality I have no idea. Will definitely return. The only thing that could have made my visit even more perfect is if they had turned on the ceiling fans for a bit of airflow and maybe a little...

Felt like we didnt matter. Very busy so we were seated at the back (which was fair enough seeing as it was 9pm and busy) but were basically forgotten about. Received our food and drink promtly but were basically forgotten about. Would have got more drinks and.dessert but was not planning on sleeping the night! Hence I didnt leave a tip. Lovely meal and very pleasant staff. To start we had the minestrone soup which was really lovely and my personal favourite, the Gambas Pil Pil, one of the best I have had in the area. To finish we had the Carbonara and I had the mushroom ravioli with pesto and pine nut. Very tasty but light on mushroom flavour, this and the fact that the garlic bread was a little disappointing stopped me giving five stars.
