Chamoriscan grill beer garden — Restaurant in Mogán

We ventured out from our hotel to try something new and there was a place that was highly rated on trip advisor. That place is now closed and in its stead, stand this establishment.

What works? It's practically located on one of the better beaches on the island so, if you are looking for some excellent views while you eat, this place has it. It's inexpensive! It costs so much less than what we are paying at the hotel, but then again, we are staying at the Radisson Blu.

What does not work? The table we were given was not cleaned. There were scraps of food and hair on it. The waitress made no attempt to clean it. The food is nothing special! Honestly I can do better paella and the other stuff was akin to pub food. The service was slow. We were told that it would take up to 20 minutes to be served the paella and we waited almost 1/2 hour.

The menue selection is okay but nothing special. On another day, I would have scored this 2.5, but today, I am feeling generous. Let's just say that we will not...

Visited here 3 times during our week in Gran Canaria. Food and service very good and reasonably priced. We had the sardines, prawns and avo, veal fillet, serrano ham and cheese (not all at once) over the three days. Its always slightly breezy which is welcome in the heat and the outlook from the verandah is pleasant especially at sunset. For drinks they do a nice sangria. Within the Anfi and Patalavca area this is certainly our preferred eating place. We have been coming to Anfi for 30 years and there is always constant change but this restaurant has been our go too for a few years now. Service has always been friendly...

Don't usually post negative reviews of restaurants, but this one is truly deserved. My fillet steak was bad (as in off), I had to send it back and have the cauliflower soup instead. Also (if it had been edible), the steak was tiny and there were barely any chips. The 'half portion' of fillet steak for the kids, which was also bad and had to be sent back, was a comically small size (I literally belly laughed when I saw it) and they had the nerve to charge €16 for it.

On the plus side, the service was friendly, and other diners had fish dishes which they enjoyed. So maybe stick to the fish. Otherwise,...
