Sushi One — Restaurant in Mogán

We went SushiOne hoping to sample the great seafood Gran Canaria has to offer, only to find out (after speaking to the waitress) they use Norwegian salmon, other previously frozen seafood/fish and no local seafood in their cooking. This is a Japanese restaurant run by Mainland Chinese people (even plays Mainland Chinese music; the waitress said they are from South China). The range of choice is very limited (salmon, tuna, sea bass, prawns on repeat), a lot of deep fried foods (including deep fried rice ball), raw fishes taste “watery”, not fresh and not much taste. Even the rice wasn’t cooked properly (soggy). Our daughter is 8 years old and they said she is counted as an adult and should pay an adult price for the buffet option. Felt a bit cheated as this is not specified anywhere in the restaurant. We sat at the table right next to the big freezer which has a small artificial Christmas tree place on top. Needless to say we all came out of the restaurant feeling extremely...

The worst all you can eat sushi ever. Nigiri is basically the biggest ball of rice with the thinest slice of fish. The maki rolls have everything but fish. For example the spicy tuna roll has tiny bits of tuna with some crispy things mixed in. They really try hard to save on fish and give you tonz of rice. They even give you a starter on the house which is a crispy rice cake. A nice strategy to feed you even more rice. The fish was not fresh and the rice was made at least a day ago. The only plus was the view. 3 adults and 3 kids: over 130 euros. Go...

La camarera amable, pero la comida... es el peor "sushi" que he probado en mi vida. Leímos reseñas, algunas eran muy malas y creímos que serian casos aislados, pero no. Y ahora no entiendo que haya gente que los valore bien, enserio, la comida no parece estar ej buen estado. Los rebozados y las gyozas llenas de aceite negro. Lleva mucho arroz mas de 1cm y poco pescado o carne. Literalmente unos 3 o 4 milímetros. Por otro lado el sabor tanto del pescado como el aguacate era muy raro, y probé un trozo de aguacate suelto y tenia una textura dura y fibrosa. Incluso pude clavar el palillo.

Tuvimos que tirar el resto de comida porque nos estaban entrando nauseas... que mal rato hemos pasado. Y nos daba hasta vergüenza porque la camarera era amable.

Los dos tenemos dolor de barriga y no nos encontramos bien...

Yo me habría levantado sin pagar, pero mira, tiramos la comida, pagamos y nos fuimos... justo después entró una pareja y estuve a punto de decirles que no comieran allí.. si leéis esto lo siento. Fue realmente horrible. Suerte que como hay que pedir de 10 en 10 no trajeron mucha comida. Pero probamos los platos y el resto a la basura. De verdad un sabor horrible.

Sigo pensando que nos deberíamos haber levantado e irnos. Nunca jamás repetiremos y os aconsejo que no vayáis. Yo temo haber comido algo en mal estado y hay que tener cuidado con el pescado. Si los propietarios me contestan la reseña a ver que dicen. Pero soy una persona honesta y siempre suelo poner buenas reseñas. Pero esto hay que decirlo. No vayáis a este sitio. Ya no importa el precio. Yo no pagaria ni 1€. Y repito que la camarera era amable y atenta. Pero no quiero ir al hospital por una intoxicación...
