Murphy's Irish Pub Orihuela Costa — Restaurant in Orihuela

Having visited here on a number of occasions over the years it might appear surprising that we found ourselves here again, on previous visits we have upped and left after waiting over half an hour for our coffee's to arrive and another when we were ignored completely. Anyway on this occasion we waited maybe 15 mins for our order to be taken, the food arrived after approx 40 mins of arriving, My wife had a very average pizza and I ordered a very greasy classic burger, please please if you order a burger and they ask you if you want cheese say NO. My burger with chips was reasonable priced at 8 euros 50 however when the bill arrived they had charge 2 euros for a slice of cheese! How can they justify a slice of cheese being 25% of a burger and chips meal. Was there the other day Thursday to be exact have passed a few times going to boulevard decided to stop so that was fine ordered the combo which was fine was enough for myself and husband to share also three glasses of wine service very quick but then asked for bill which came the final bill was 29_90euros but never thought when paying this to look at what was on the bill but my husband said we certainly won't be back here because wine is 2'70 a glass and the combo 9'95 paying the 18'05 would have been okay but it wasn't until we got back home that i think we have been overcharged but since we stay in torrevieja and I was so shocked at the price i forgot to lift the bill but if this happens to me how can this be good review and especially for customers who are who are drinking and eating a lot...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Even the children's pizza was virtually inedible, which is saying something. The steak was cold in the middle, the salmon and chicken were dry and the potatoes were cold and hard in the middle. The white wine was not good, and was warm, while the service was verging on hostile. I would hesitate to criticise floor staff, as they are probably being paid poorly, but this reflects very badly on the management. I have also composed an acrostic poem to summarise our experience:
