Pato Pekin Restaurante — Restaurant in Orihuela

Dined in here with the family. We ordered starters and they were OK. I ordered Bangkok ribs. The portion was very small for the cost. I asked the waitress for a recommendation. Something spicy. Also ordered sides: vegetables, chips, egg fried rice and noodles. Our meals arrived and looked good. I put my main meal along with the sides on my plate. However when I tried my main, it was heavily over salted. I mentioned this to the waitress who removed my plate and said they'd redo it. Around 2 minutes later, they brought out a new dish but did not replace any of the sides that were on the taken away plate. They should have also replaced that in my opinion, or at least the amounts that they'd taken away. Again, the dish was over salted, but at least it was edible this time...just.......although it left a burning sensation as a heavily salted meal would do. To be fair, they deducted the cost of the main from our bill, but no deduction for the sides they'd taken from the table. My wife also ordered broccoli stir fried in garlic. This was also poor. Broccoli turned up on a plate swimming with water and large garlic slices, not well cooked. The restaurant was busy, so maybe we had an off night where they were rushing dishes out? Other reviews rate the restaurant highly but our experience of the food was not great. We may try it again when...

We grabbed a take away from Pato Pekin. For the price and variety of the menu it was spot on. The restaurant itself is huge. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Great vegan and veg options and an extensive menu for everything else you could think of. 4 adults ate for about 40€ which is incredible value for money. Quality was also fantastic, will be returning on our next trip!

For the kids, there is an indoor koi pond with a terrapin turtle in, kept our daughter quite happy while we waited...

Been here every time we visit the area. It's always worth a visit. You pay for what you get. There's set menus or choose what you want. The atmosphere is great, spacious, staff very accommodating. I have read the last review who gave 3 stars. They failed to mention 1/2 bottle of wine included in that price each and dessert or coffee.... What did they want for 11 euros these days?!!!
