The Secret Garden — Restaurant in Orihuela

Had a few drinks here before but first time trying the food. I had the steak pie and have to say it was exceptional. No fat, loads of lean meat and excellent gravy. My wife had fish and chips, once again excellent, an occasional taste of the uk for us and it was very good. Service good. I marked the review down for the environment. We preordered our food 25 past no food from the kitchen when i say no food i mean not one cover has come out ... the owner told a table near me had to go for gravy when i pulled her on this she lied to my face saying that was not true .. I have worked in the hospitality industry 20+ years ... if you want speedie honest service do not try this place .. good for drink in the outside idea stay...

This is a nice place to have breakfast or a evening drink. The chef does a good service. Unfortunately the hosts frequently forget to wipe down the tables. This happened on numerous times we visited. The toilets are very clean but when busy the male host only occasionally wipes tables near to the bar.
