Sliders Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Orihuela

We visited here yesterday just after midday and wanted a hefty meal as we flew home later on in the day. The main menu is usually only served from 1pm but knowing that i wanted a lot of food, I asked if it would be possible to order from the main menu instead of the breakfast menu and they were more than happy to accommodate which we really appreciated.

Me and my partner wanted to try a couple of different things as there were plenty of tasty looking options on the menu. We ordered the pulled pork sliders and the Philly cheesesteak sliders to share between us.

The steak was tender and easy to eat with plenty of flavour, the cheese sauce really complimented the steak and the cooked onions and peppers really rounded things off nicely. The pulled pork was soft, juicy and again had a fantastic flavour. There was only a small amount of sauce on the pulled pork and that was all that was needed because the pork was flavoursome enough without needing heaps of sauce. I also ordered a side of onion rings and they were the cherry on top of the very tasty cake as they were nicely battered and freshly fried.

All of the food that we had was fantastic and I’d highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back when we’re next...

If I could give 0 stars i seriously would. Arrived at half 12 and we were informed lunch did not start until 1 o’clock. We decided to wait and get the food anyway. We then ordered drinks, every drink came out at a separate time and one drink did not arrive until we asked about it 15 minutes later. I asked at 1 o’clock if we could order some food and we were told it would be another 30 minutes wait and when we then asked “when does the lunch service start?” we got a rude remark back of “whenever we’re ready”. The server then brought out menus to the two tablets next to us who had arrived 30 minutes later then us and continued to ignore us when we asked “would it be okay if we could order some food now?” The server just walked off. By this point we were waiting 50 minutes so decided to get the bill which we had to go inside to get because no one would come out to us. All of this while a table of staff members were sat chain smoking with the ash actually blowing in to my sisters coffee and drinking beer going in and out of...

Booked for Sunday lunch. They do a carvery and I wanted to try it. You do need to book, as I tried before and they were full. The carvery is lovely. You can choose from 3 meats or have some of each. Stuffing and crackling too. Loads of different vegetables (peas, baton carrots, cabbage, green beans, sweetcorn, cauliflower cheese)... Mashed potato and crispy roasts. I can't remember the name of the other potato dish, it was mixed with onions and roasted. I prefer strong tasting gravy and it was almost as strong as my own. The horseradish sauce was great ... Lots of texture and packed that punch I like. Too often horseradish sauce is weak. Homemade Yorkshire puddings, nicely risen, with that slightly soft middle. Each meat was perfectly cooked, no tough bits. I think they must buy quality cuts. Not sure, but I think you can get different sizes of plates. The standard size was plenty. Took me ages to get through it all. Great value for a lovely Sunday lunch, definitely...
