Tipsy Toad — Restaurant in Orihuela

Went to Tipsy Toad in El Galan yesterday for Sunday lunch. I booked for four then two and ended up with six. They accommodated us no problems whatsoever. We all commented at how lovely the food was. Nina who served was extremely polite providing an excellent service to us and everyone else. We was due to leave after lunch but with the service being so good, we stayed nearly six hours. An excellent place to go to. Thank you for such a wonderful time. Update from our recent visit. We have been many times over the past few years and on each occasion the food has remained superb value for money. We booked a table for 7 guests yesterday 14/04/25. With 3 of our friends having never visited before. I am assured that it will become their first choice of venue from now on. Sharon our waitress was lovely and polite while Andy was very efficient and courteous in his service at the bar. Lisa's food quality is legendary. Went there after seeing they have a fair selection of lunch daily specials on social media postings. Disappointed to find that all three specials being advertised outside were not available, although it was only just after one o clock and we were the only customers there. No soup. No Bacon, apparently awaiting a delivery. When we were given the cutlery, it clearly hadn’t been washed properly with egg or something on the fork, not good at any time, but especially when we are in the middle of a pandemic. Disappointing that neither the person who washed it, or the waitress, spotted it before being given to us. The Sausage Sandwich was very good and the Chips served were a generous...

Kind of found this by accident but glad I did. Very surprised how spacey inside was and it wss very well kept. Lovely friendly bar girl who was happy to give us all the info we wanted

Grabbed a tuna melt to eat which was lovely and a cracking bottle of a local beer.

Outside up the steps was a putting green. Also looked like the place had catered for a golf outing. First impression is this is likely to be my main spot for a beer...
