Very rude staff. Outside they advertise a menu for €13.95 so we booked a table for 7pm as we were there early. We arrived at 7 and were then told it was now €16.50 pp as after 7pm. No mention of this in their board outside or when we booked in person. Lady was very offhand and told us to leave if we didn’t like it. On principle we left. Very underhanded and sly way of doing business. If we’d known we would have booked earlier but no information at all. Incredibly rude person serving as we were actually there before 7pm. It was the evening of the big power cut and we thought that maybe we could get a take away (knowing that they cook with gas) Much to our surprise we were offered a table on the terrace. We were warned that service may be a bit slow (it wasn't) and that card payment wouldn't be possible (no problem) The food was to the usual high standard and the staff did a sterling job in difficult circumstances. A very big WELL DONE to all at...
