Absolutely delighted with my dining experience at Rustica Restaurant in Playa Flamenca! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the fantastic surroundings that promised a memorable evening, and I was not disappointed. The scallops I had were beyond delicious, cooked to perfection with a flavour that danced on my palate. But let’s talk about the ribeye steak – it was the highlight of my meal! Perfectly seasoned and succulent, each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail.
Not to be overlooked, the menu boasts a variety of other delectable options like the prawns and lamb shank, which my wife had. The portions here are massive, offering great value and leaving you satisfyingly full. A word to the wise: make sure to book well in advance because this gem is no secret among locals and travellers alike.
The service at Rustica Restaurant was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great dining experience. It's rare to find a place that combines great service, fantastic food, and stunning ambience so effortlessly. Rustica Restaurant in Playa Flamenca has mastered this blend, making it an absolute must-visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favour and dine here. Five stars aren’t enough to capture the excellence of this...
Read moreAfter reading all the hype about this restaurant we had very high expectations. Unfortunately these weren't met in the way I had expected. When we booked the table (over a week ago) nobody asked if we wanted to be seated inside or out. I did ask when we arrived, but was scowled at and told we had to sit inside. After being kept waiting we were plonked, on our own, right by the bar. Everybody else was seated out the front or in their rear garden room. Talk about making you feel unworthy!
The starters were relatively nice, and I only wish I had stopped at that point. My wife asked for the meatballs, and I asked for the Ribeye steak. The meatballs were very nice, but the steak was undercooked and very tough. For the price I was charged I expected a steak of far better quality. In future we'll go to the Pategonian Steakhouse in Quesada. Their Ribeyes melt in your mouth and are cooked to perfection.
Bit of a disappointing visit, and not one we will do again. If there was one last piece of advice I could give, it would be too the younger members of staff. Smile. It's a very simple thing to do and can make all...
Read moreI visited in September with my Mum and Sister, we were excited as booked 6 months earlier for my birthday. Dreadful experience which left us shocked! We ordered drinks then 3 expensive starters and a sharing meal for two as I have a digestive problem so unable to eat large meals. We were going to have dessert and more drinks however we were told that we had not ordered enough and if not prepared to order another main course we would have to leave! The bill was already at €110 and would have been more with desert etc.. Nowhere does it state a minimum spend, we were told nowhere would serve us without a main course. I eat out all over and never had this problem before! They also said its a table for 4 so they could have made more money, I clearly made the booking for 3 people. Thankfully we were served with beautiful starters next door...
