Was very excited coming to this restaurant for dinner after reading the glowing reviews. Such a huge disappointment. The view is the only saving grace. The restaurant itself was filthy, the floors haven't seen a brush in at least three months with all the old food, paper, and general rubbish lying around. The servers were hostile, rude and didn't understand what you were ordering, either in Spanish or English. During the "meal" they stood staring at us from the side of the table. Then they decided to all congregate at the table and fight. So unprofessional. The starters were good, you really shouldn't be able to mess up truffled potatoes and goats cheese. It all went downhill from there. The fillet steak was bland, rock hard potato slices that were heavily salted. The tuna was the worst I have ever attempted to eat, and before you think they didn't expect it to be rare, I love this dish everywhere else, here it was completely tasteless, so tough you couldn't cut it or chew it and I had to down glasses of water to try to swallow it. Absolute worst food we have ever eaten. Left almost all of the mains as it was inedible. Decided to get dessert as I was still starving, got the lemon souffle (foolishly thought how can you mess up desserts). What I got was not a souffle, it was a bloody baked Alaska type sugar fest, not a hint of lemon. Ended up leaving this behind too. Paid a €110 form the privilege of wasting food. Save your money. Go elsewhere. Worst dining experience ever. If I could give zero stars I would. I notice that most of the five star reviews are from local...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant for the first time last wednesday with friends. Wow! Loved everything about it. Food great atmosphere lovely and waiter was so pleasant and attentive. However......we thought we would go back again tonight. What a difference. Waiter didn't seem as though he had ever done the job before. Food still amazing although extremely rushed. We ordered bread with aioli and tomato (which took a while coming), it was only in front of us for about 3 minutes before the waiter came to remove our plates to serve our main course. Therefore we have no time to chill and enjoy it. The waiter kept on coming back to our table to remove our plates. As soon as we had put our knives and forks down he rushed over to clear our plates asking if we was ted coffee or dessert. we requested another drink and then asked for the bill. Waiter came back with just credit card machine and no bill. He then wandered off and returned with bill and credit card machine. When we were there on Wednesday we were offered a shot of something but NOT tonight. All other diners were though although they were NOT served by same waiter. We are extremely disheartened as we on first impressions thought that this might have been our to go to place. Such a shame. Rating Wednesday 10 out of 10, tonight...
Read moreWe've just been there tonight and had a really disappointing experience. The restaurant looks nice and classy, but is just a tourist trap. We started with some appetizers that were so sad we didn't dare to order the mains. Seafood salad is made with store bought mayonnaise and is full of surimi, 9 euros for 2 people (we literally got two spoonfuls of it on a small plate) We ordered the largest portion of roasted octopus 18 euros( they recommend for 4 people), we love this dish in general but here was overcooked and no flavour or spices, luckily we were only two as about 10-12 slices of octopus were served on the bottom of a deep plate. Tempura artichokes were in a soggy brownish batter with a strong old oil flavour and few slices of jamón of the cheaper quality. After this we didn't dare to order more. On the positive points they have a nice selection of wines and a beautiful view. We will surely choose to spend our money somewhere else and support restaurants that...
