A place that has completely gone downhill. There’s nothing left of the cocktail bar concept they once tried to have. Now it feels more like a neighborhood café, full of people drinking coffee and beers, and the cocktails have lost all their quality and coherence. The last time I went, one of the managers was drinking wine and eating gummies and nuts behind the bar, which says a lot about the current level of professionalism. On another visit, an employee had quite an inappropriate attitude with a friend of mine, which was uncomfortable. It feels like the original spirit has completely faded, and what little remains from that earlier stage barely survives on the menu. Such a shame to see a project with so much potential end...

My husband & I had a pre-dinner drink yesterday at El Alquimista & loved it! The space has a cool, hip, urban vibe! The staff led by Sara & Samuel (and team) were extraordinary. Their customer service skills are well-honed & their hospitality is genuine. I ordered the "Duck with Orange" which included: Pisco; Gardeum (a flower liquor produced in Asturias); Spicy Mango & Passion Fruit, served in a creative ceramic Orange "duck". Lamentable servicio. Tras pedir un Puerto d Indias fresa, la respuesta del camarero d modo grosero e impertinente fue q "eso ni lo trabajamos" sin remitir en ningún momento al Befeater Pink q si tienen en carta y q finalmente le pedidos motu propio. Pero después al pedirle un Seagram's, q si está en su carta, d modo mucho más inapropiado e impertinente se permitió decirnos q la gente pedía ginebras como si fueran coca cola sin saber q pedir, q el podría recomendarnos cosas más sorprendentes. O sea pobres palurdos no tenéis ni idea vaya dos peticiones q me habéis hecho. Jamás he visto un sumiller en un restaurante q t haga una recomendación si no se las has pedido, siempre pedirá permiso educadamente para hacerla y lo q nunca me han hecho es cuestionarme una elección d su carta, x q es su carta, sino q quite la referencia. Las recomendaciones antes d la elección y con permiso y una vez hecha lo correcto y educado es el típico y tópico "magnífica elección" aunq sea pésima.
