Brisa Marina Sunset — Restaurant in Pájara

This restaurant is a perfect example of how to lose a potential regular customer in the dumbest way ... for €1.50. Was it worth it? Congratulations to whoever came up with that idea.

The place itself is ok and well located. The burger was correct and fairly priced. They didn’t ask if we wanted ketchup or mayonnaise; they just brought them automatically (the cheapest kind, of course). We opened one ketchup and one mayo, and later saw on the bill that they charged us for them 1,5€.... (whaat??) an in addition for three.

It’s honestly ridiculous. I’ve never seen anything like that in a restaurant before. You made €1.50 on us, but you lost hundreds that we could have spent there in the future.

Sadly, after this experience, I really can’t recommend this...

The restaurant boasts a fantastic location with stunning views, making it an inviting spot for lunch. I chose this place based on its strong reviews but found my experience slightly underwhelming. The prawns, unfortunately, were overcooked, and the back vein hadn't been removed, which detracted from the dish. On a brighter note, the fried cheese was enjoyable, though it didn’t stand out as particularly memorable. While the service was prompt and friendly, the overall meal didn’t fully live up to expectations. There is definitely an opportunity to elevate the dining experience to match its setting...

It was a horrible experience. The waiter couldn‘t speak english. When we got the food we were scared for food poisoning. The grilled fish of the day tasted like nothing and the cod „supreme“ fish was heated up in the microwave and looked soggy and tasted like nothing, even though they said it was „grilled“. I love french fries and not a picky eater at all. But the fries were also soggy and tasteless. We were five people and all of us have truly never had such a horrible restaurant experience… everything about this restaurant is a scam. If i could give zero...
