Pizzería Guayarmina — Restaurant in Pájara

We were really skeptical about the food here, but it wasn’t as bad as the reviews were. Personally, we think it’s a love or hate kind of restaurant. We ordered a margherita pizza; the dough was really thin and there wasn’t a lot of tomato sauce. On the other hand the pizza wasn’t burnt and had a lot of cheese.

Das Putenschnitzel mit Pommes Frittes ist großzügig, das Cordon Bleue okay. Pizzen sind überteuert, insbesondere die mittlere und die große (kaum größer als 30 bzw. 35 cm, kaum Teig und spärlich belegt und in für Deutschland und Italien unüblichen Kombination). Der Teig ist flach" die übliche Tomatensauce nicht zu erkennen, insgesamt geschmacklos. Wer Cocktail Kirschen, Ananas und Bananen auf seiner Pizza möchte, der it hier gut bedient.

Der für Fuerteventura gut gemeinte und daher nur selten dargebotene Starter aus warmen Aufback-Brötchen und Aioli (was beides an Fertiggerichte aus dem Spar/Lidl erinnert) wäre nicht nötig, die Gerichte sind überraschend schnell am Tisch. Gereicht werden sie von derselben Person, die vorher und anschließend ohne weitere Maßnahmen in der Küche mit der Zubereitung der Speisen beschäftigt ist/war.

Toiletten gibt es, wir beinahe überall in den touristischen Zentren auf Fuerteventura üblich, keine. Hier wird auf die unhygienischen örtlichen WC hingewiesen.

Encontramos esta pizzería de casualidad y he de decir que me ha sorprendido sobremanera. En toda la zona suelen cerrar más temprano que aquí y se agradece la hora de cierre a las 23:30, ya que la mayoría tienen horarios de almuerzo/cena para norte de Europa. Pedimos de entrante pan de ajo con queso (imprescindible y recomendable, porque es un bollo de pan con abundante queso derretido), Ravioli a la Carbonara (espectacular salsa con generoso bacon) y Pizza 4 quesos, un clásico que no falla, pero en este caso la mezcla de quesos azules le ha dado un gusto exquisito, sin mencionar la masa artesanal súper fina y crujiente. Por último mencionar que dentro del local hay poco espacio (3 mesas de 4 personas cada), pero fuera en la terraza hay mesas de sobra para bastantes usuarios (cenamos dentro porque durante el tiempo que estuvimos en Morro Jabre por las noches refrescaba) El trato de la camarera (Andrea) ha sido muy cordial, rápido y...
